Need to Find a Slim Line of Clothing for Preschoolers
I've talked to several moms with the same dilema. Our 3 & 4 year olds are too slim for their size and if the length is right, the jeans/pants just fall off their body. Does anyone know a particular brand or line of clothes that works well for the slim preschooler?

My 4 year old has the same problem. I found several shorts at JCPenney this summer that were 4slim and they fit great. Other than that, I look for adjustable waists. Childrens Place has adjustable waists and so do some of JCPenney's.
Good luck!

My 5 yr old has the same problem, long skinny legs, no hips and small waist. I have found that jeans/shorts that have the adjustable waistbands work the best. Lee/Levi's makes them, gotten them at Kohls before, as well as Gymboree. And make sure when you are looking for them that they say slim.

The Children's Place jeans, shorts and pants have always worked great for my slim boys. For example, my oldest weighs 47# and is almost 8 yrs old and is 51" tall. They work great for him.

I look for pants with the adjustable waistbands. I know Carter's Outlet carries these a lot. Sometimes Target and sometimes Walmart. Waistbands that do not adjust are just not a good thing.

You can get Levi's in slim I think at Penney's and if this isn't to far off the mark for you wranglers also come in slim and they are longer for boots. But like the other ladies said look for brands that have adjustable waist. Gymboree, Gap for sure have the adjustable wait. Hope this helps!!

Hi C.,
Children's place worked for my girls, Ralph lauren for my boy, you can go by the consignment shops and see if they have them, or TJ Max, Ross, Marshalls. I know they are costly. Tommy is on the bigger side. Gap and old navy are both slim fit. At that age, I had to stay away from Walmart, their pants always fit big!

C.,
I have the same problem for my 6yr old boy. He needs to wear size 8 in small boys, which will fit him in the length, but not his hips. I always buy the adjustable waistband which works great. I normally can find his pants/shorts at JcPenny's, Target, and Gap.
