Need Secrets for Younger Looking Eyes! What Creams, Lotions, Serums Are Best?

I'm 30 so I want to start protecting my skin from aging (as much as I can). Does anyone have any suggestions on what they have done that seems to help maintain skin so it stays younger longer?

Has anyone ever used Dermitage?

Thanks

What can I do next?

I use Obagi. It has helped tremendously with the fine lines (crowes feet)I am getting around my eyes (too much squinting in the sun). It is pricey, but noticeable results.

Mary Kay Timewise skin care system combined with their microderm abrasion at home spa treatment. It's awesome! I''ve seen it work wonders. I sell Mary Kay, just so I can buy it for myself at half price, so I let others buy it for half price, too. Let me know if you want to try it!

I echo the use of sunscreen and all natural skin care products. My mom and I love the MyChelle line of products. http://www.mychelle.com
They are currently running a 15% off sale. I've also purchased their products from health food stores, Vitacost.com, amazon.com, and ebay. Hope that helps!

The best thing you can do for young-looking skin is use all-natural products and be aware that most commercially available "natural" products can contain synthetics or chemicals. I know of a truly all-natural skin care line called Lluvia (means "rain") that works wonders - I have been using it myself for nearly five years and my skin has never looked better. I am 42 and a half and at my 25 year high school reunion I was told over and over that I hadn't changed at all! I also have compiled a researched list of synthetic ingredients still allowed in "natural" products - feel free to contact me if you would like to have a copy. If you are interested in checking out the skin care products you can view them on my website: www.shootingstarherbs.amazonherb.net and if you want to see proof you can view my most recent photo on Facebook. I am a certified herbal consultant and would be glad to answer any questions you have.

Hi HC! I am a Mary Kay consultant and have used the eye creams for over 16 years. The key is moisturization for the delicate eye area. We have several different eye creams that do that in addition to specific needs, such as puffiness or any darkness under the eyes. I do have samples of one of the eye creams I offer or if you'd like to try others, we can get together. My website is www.marykay.com/aparra or feel free to call at ###-###-####
to see and read more on the products & shop online.
I hope you find it helpful. Thanks!

I agree with Cara, Raw Shea Butter is good for ya. You wouldn't have to use a lot and the plus is that Shea Butter has a natural SPF of about 4 I think. I would put it on at night after you wash your face.

I also wash my face using the Oil Cleansing Method. It is not harsh and doesn't strip away all the oils of your face.

H C - I have been using Beauti Control - I have never been able to use any kinds of facial cleansers on my face due to allergic reactions and not to long ago a friend of mine introduced me to this. I LOVE it!!! I started selling the product too. I come into your home and do a ""IN HOME SPA"" for you and friends and family to try the product . I have done a few spa so far and everyone loves the way thier skin feels right away. They have repair products, prevent products, and maintain products etc. Everything from microderm abrasion kits to instant face lift treatments, moisturisers and cleansers, and mineralmake up too with out all the paraphyns that most people can't use or don't want. If you have any ?'s please email me personally. Good Luck J. - ____@____.com

Anti aging is really pretty basic even though there are hundreds and hundreds of products and services that promise younger looking skin, doing your research is key. And the more money you spend does NOT mean you will get best results. Basically start from within. Eat from the earth. LOTS of Fruits, veggies, fish, complex grains, and low protein and low saturated fats. Drink lots of water, stay away from caffiene and lots of alcohol...really one drink a day is absolutely fine and both caffiene and certain alcohols have some health benefits. Eat a little dark chocolate with high cocoa content..not the Hershey's milk chocolate:) Stay away from processed food as much as possible. Get adequate sleep. Wash off your makeup every night. Find healthy ways to deal with stress or let go of stress that isn't serving you. Exercise. Get outdoors. Find your inner peace and happiness. Laugh alot. Accept the fact that we are all going to age, and though we want to age gracefully, living a grace filled and authentic life with some laugh lines is really a much happier way to live.
All that said, I do understand wanting to protect our skin and age as beautifully as we can. And Botox, dermitage, Revestoral, etc, is fine if that is what someone wants to do, and the results can be amazing. But it will always come back to beauty from within and going back to basic care.
Hope you find what best works for you. OH, and wear sunscreen every single day. It is one of the BEST anti-aging things you can do for yourself.

Never heard of dermitage but I use plain ol' raw shea butter from the health food store and it is oh so good for your skin. A little tiny bit goes a long way. You can pick up a big tub of it for around $10.
