I need to 2nd or 3rd the recommendations for Dr. Ewalt. He also has a Physician's Assistant Kim who is fabulous with my 8 year old son. She speaks to the children in a way that helps them understand what's going on.

Good luck,

L.

My daughter needed a urologist when she was younger. I used Dr. Linda Baker. She is a pediatric urologist and works with UT Southwestern Medical University. I don't have her number but you can go to the UT Southwestern web site and look for her name in the staff directory.
I do recommend her. I don't know where you live but her clinic is locate dat exchange park in Dallas. Very close to UT Southwestern in Harry Hines.

Dr. Adam Baseman, M.D. at Urology Clinics of North Texas is fabulous! I had to take my son several months ago and we were very impressed. He took them time to sit down and explain everything to me as well as actually diagram the problems. I highly recommend him. They have 2 offices in Plano the number is ###-###-####. Hope this helps.

This is in Dallas, but I think he is worth the drive. Dr. David Ewalt is a urologist of of Walnut Hill. He works at Childrens Hospital also. He has been my nephew's urologist since age 1 month. Also have another friend (who referred my sister to him) who used him for her daughter. Both kids had kidney reflux, and he is absolutely wonderful. My sister is VERY picky about her son's doctors, and she really likes Dr. Ewalt.

A couple of years ago I took my son to Dr. Warren Snodgrass. He used to have an office at Presby/Plano, but I just looked him up on our insurance web page and his address is now listed as 7800 Preston Rd #300 in Plano. The phone # is ###-###-####.
We were happy with the results. Good luck!

Hi M.,

My son has to see a urologist as well and he sees Dr. Duncan Wilcox. He has been seeing him pretty much since birth (he's 14 months now).We like him a lot , we never have to wait long, he thorough, and his staff is great as well. He's not in plano though he's in Dallas, but I wanted to put in my two cents just in case you didn't find anyone else in plano. He is at Address: UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas 5323 Harry Hines Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75390-9142
Telephone: ###-###-####. Good Luck!

We have seen Dr. Adam Baseman too. Our son was under the care of Dr. Bruce Broecker in Atlanta, so upon moving here I called his office for a referral. Turns out Dr. Baseman had worked under him there for a year.

wonderful with kids!

My son was born with hypospadias and has had two surgeries. He went to Dr. Clanton Harrison out of UT Southwestern. We actually go to his ofc. at the Children's Hospital Ambulatory Care Pavilion at about Legacy and Preston in Plano, though. His office is called the Pediatric Urology Clinic. He is the most wonderful doctor and person. He told us going into surgery that he would treat our son as if he were his own, and we really believe he did. They referred us to Dr. Harrison in the NICU at Presby Plano, and when our pediatrician found out who he was seeing they were thrilled and told us he was the best in town. He is taking a sabbatical right now, unfortunately, but I would guess that anyone in his office is equally wonderful. The # is ###-###-####. Best of luck to you - It's so scary when you have to entrust your child's health to a new doctor. Let me know if you have any other questions...

I have taken my son to Dr. William Strand. He is in the bldg west of Medical Center of Plano. He is a pediatric urologist and I am very impressed with him. He was a second opinion (first was at Plano Presby) and I liked him MUCH better. He is actually doing surgery on my son tomorrow.
Hope that helps!

I agree with Candy M - my daughter has been seeing Dr. Ewalt since birth, with kidney reflux (very serious) he's very through and doesn't rush in & out.

In my midwifery practice, I refer people to Dr Adam Baseman who has offices in Dallas, Plano and Allen. The Dallas number is ###-###-####. You could call there and ask for the Plano number. He is fairly new in town which means he has less patients and more time. He is extremely personable and his wife had a home birth which shoews that he is a rather unusual doctor!
