Hello Mamas! I am due with my first this summer and need a pediatrician recommendation. I’d like to have a few great ones to meet and choose from. I’d like an office as close to my home as possible. We live in North Wilmington, near Naamans, Folk and Marsh roads. I’m also fairly close to Claymont (about 5 miles away). The Pennsylvania areas of Glen Eagle, Boothwyn and Chadds Ford are also very close to us.
My step-daughter has a great pediatrician that I really like, but that office is in New Castle, and I’d really like to find something closer. I’m using Chester Co. Hospital, so any of the recommendations they or my ob would have would be too far away.

I also use Brandywine Pediatrics and love my doctor. The best thing is I love all the doctors in the practice. On the weekend it does not matter who I get. I love the fact that there are weekend hours, and I have never had a problem getting an appointment during the week or on the weekend.

My 2 3/4 year old daughter goes to Dr. Borin/Dr. Dupont. It has been a wonderful experience. They used to be Kids First Wilmington but changed their name. I am not sure what they are called now but they are affiliated with Neumors Children's Hospital. Their offices are on the corner of Murphy and Foulk Roads, behind the gas station. I have never had any problem getting an appointment or advice. They have a nurse on call thru the hospital when ever they are closed, which really eases your mind. Good luck in your search!
Hi! I'm another N. Wilmington mom and I agree that Brandywine Peds is the way to go. All the docs are great and they only close the office on major holidays. Also, they are all associated with AI DuPont Children's Hospital just incase you ever have to go. Best of luck and congratulations!
Not sure if anyone responded- I'm new to this- but we go to Brandywine Pediatrics. The doctors are great- they have weekend hours for sicknesses and we never really seem to have too much of a wait for our well visits. Good luck!
Hello My name is S. and I live right off Naamans road, and My 7 month old goes to pediatric associates located in the Pavilion 2 at the Christiana Hospital. I love that office its open 365 days of the yr and it so easy to get a sick appointment and very convenient since it connected with the hospital. Its even open on holidays for on call appointments here is the number ###-###-####. Hope you find this information helpful
