Need Pediatric Allergist

Can anyone recommend a Pediatric Allergist in the Twin Cities. Looking for someone very experienced to do a full testing of my son. He has severe eczema that has not been helped by the elimination of dairy, wheat, and peanut (alredy tested allergic for those). I think we're missing something and would like to find a good allergist who will be very thorough. Thanks!

What can I do next?

Hi-
Have you considered a kinesiologist? My sister and her son have eczema and have had good results with seeing one. It sounds like you have tried alot already. Good luck!

Dr.Thomas Helm - former pediatrician and now an allergist.

Dr. Nelson at Southdale Pediatrics - young, very knowledgeable about recent testing and studies. I think she is having a baby in May, so she might not be available until mid-summer. Good luck!

Dr. Michael Wexler
Dr. Wexler consistently gets voted as as one of the top doctors in MSP magazine and I can see why. On my first visit he and his staff spent more time listening to me, doing diagnostic tests and asking questions than any other doctor I've ever visited! He even dictated his notes in front of me to make sure he didn't miss anything.

He treats lots of children but also adults. The office is well run. Dr. Wexler was recommended to me by a physician who goes to him for his own allergy problem.

A statement from his website:
I place great importance on having a complete & thorough knowledge of patients in my practice. Our clinic emphasizes preventive care. I believe a personal, happy approach produces the best results. We combine the most modern medical knowledge with the warmest of care. I never forget to look at the patient as a "whole person" and consider each individual's preference and concerns in the development of a care plan.
