I am in the market for a double jogging stroller or all-terrain stroller. I have a single one currently and am going to try and sell it. I have 2 young kids. One 2 yr old girl, and a 3 month old boy. I have been reading the reviews of customers of the ones I like and it is hard to decide. I want to pay $150-$200. The ones I like are the Baby Trend Expedition, In Step Safari and the Schwinn Free Wheeler. Does any one have one of these and what do you recommend? I will rarely use it for running, mainly walking Town Lake and Brushy Creek and around my neighborhood. Oh - and a must have is a dual swivel wheel that also locks. Also, should I get one with a divider between the kids? And preferably a canopy that is adustable to cover them from the sun. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I know the Bob Stroller is a lot more $ but so worth it!!! My sister -in-law just got one on Craig's List for $150 so check it out. I got a cheap jogging stroller for my first child and was not going to make that mistake when I had 2! Good luck! If you have any questions about it I can tell you, it's amazing!

R., I know you didn't mention this brand but I thought I would throw my 2 cents in. I bought a Phil and Ted's last year and OMG it was worth every penney I paid. Yes, they are pricey, but seriously, it is the BEST! They are not double-wide so you don't have to worry about running into things because the stroller is taking up too much room. It's light, yet sturdy and the weight and height limit are higher than most other strollers. The tires are also pneumatic/air filled and they just seem to glide when you push it. I would definitely recommend checking them out. HTH!

I have the single Baby Trend Expedition and love it. I just bought a used Baby Trend Navigator Double and am having a lot of issues with it. I don't know if my problems are due to a design issue or rough use. (Its a year old and I bought it off of craigslist.) I have played around with a Schwinn and it was GREAT. Much lighter and easier to manuever than the Baby Trend. I have also pushed an older Instep and it was very nice too. I am considering junking the double I just bought and buying a brand new Schwinn.

I have the Baby Trend Expedition in both the single and double version and think it's a great stroller for walking. I like that it has the divide in between the two kids for the double, gives them their own space. It works great on dirt roads and has ample storage compartment underneath for kid stuff. I really like the canopy for keeping the sun or rain off of them, it's a must. The front wheel does swivel and lock. It's super easy to fold up and not all that heavy to put in the back of my car. I can't help with any of the brands you mentioned. Hope that helps.
