Hello, everyone, I just found out I'm pregnant with a surprise baby! I am completely unprepared for this, and my older kids were born in a different state, so I have no idea what doctor to see. Some names of some good ones would be SO appreciated!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks everyone, I was so happy to see so many raves about the same group! I went with Concord OB/GYN, and have my first appt next week. We are very excited...and thanks for the info on Emerson, too. :)

Hi K.,
There's a wonderful group called Concord OB/GYN located across the street from Emerson Hospital. All three of their doctors are fantastic (2 women & 1 man) & I had a fantastic experience with my delivery at Emerson. Their phone # is ###-###-####.
I know there are some people that will recommend Rachel Kramer (she used to be part of their practice), but I had a couple of bad experiences with her.
Best of luck,
R.

K.- If Concord isn't too far from you, Concord OBGYN is great! They are across Rte. 2 from Emerson Hospital.

I used Concord OB as well. I LOVE Dr. Travias! But all of the doctors there are great. And I love that the hospital is right across the street. The ladies at the front desk are so nice too.

Im assuming you are looking to deliver at Emerson (A GREAT hospital to deliver at--2 of my 3 were born there) I use Concord OB/GYN they are right across from Emerson. They are a 3 Dr. practice (2 female, 1 male), all 3 Dr's are wonderful. Another plus is that they have a lab on site and also have 2 ultrasound techs on staff (which means no going over to the hospital for one). Hope this helps some.

I would recommend Kramer OB/GYN. They have an office in Concord (in the building adjacent to Emerson Hospital). They also have an office on Rt. 119 in Acton. There are 2 female Doctors: Rachel Kramer and Michele Spinpoli (sp?) and one male Dr. Tim Hale. I've met them all and they are all great. They rotate between the 2 offices and being on call for deliveries. Dr. Kramer delivered my son in late 06 and happens to be "my OB/gyn", but I saw Dr. Hale alot during my pregnancy and he was really nice too. Dr. Spinapoli is relatively new to that practice, but I just met her the other day and she was really great too. Emerson was a wonderful hospital to deliver. Also, I believe that by now they have their new maternity ward finished.

Hi K.,
I use Concord OB GYN They have a fantastic staff and the Drs are great...if you prefer male Dr Travias is wonderful always takes the time to listen and not rush you out the door and the rest of the female Drs are great as well. They deliver out of Emerson Hospital which is right across the street from the practice and Emerson is phenomenal...I delivered 2 of my children there and loved it I live in Lowell and found it worth the drive. Best of luck to you and your family :)
