Need OB GYN near Langhorne/Newtown Area.

I moved to the area a year ago and never really "looked" for doctors in the area. Now I really need an OB GYN (took pregnancy test that showed positive). I'm looking for an office that has friendly staff and clean facilities. Also want a doctor with good reputation and good bedside manners. We live within minutes of Saint Mary's Hospital. So, any input on that hospital/maternity ward is also welcome.

What can I do next?

I also go to Center for Women's Health even though i have moved out of the area but i truley love the Dr there and would not change. I mostly see Dr kuhn but while pregnant you get to meet different Dr. I delivered both of my children by C-Section at St Mary's and love this hospital.

Hi, I go to the Center for Women's Health on Woodbourne Road near the Oxford Valley Mall. It's a very large practice; I see Dr. Berk and have been seeing him for 12 years and I'm very pleased. I delivered both of my boys at St. Mary's and I had a good experience both times. Good Luck to you!

Center for Women's Health is a great OB/Gyn center. They are very helpful and really nice...at least they were nine years ago when I had my son. They even went out of their way for me when my employer wouldn't pay disability.

Go to Women's Health Services of Bucks County. Dr. S. Sliwinski delivered my son and I wouldn't have had it any other way. We delivered at St. Mary's Hospital, which is where I wanted to go. He's wonderful and I plan to continue seeing him. He also recommended us to Yardley Pediatric Association which is a part of St. Chris Care. I'm very comfortable with the doctors at Yardley Pediatric and plan to continue with them as well.

Best wishes!

I have gone to the Doctors at "THE CENTER FOR WOMEN'S HEALTH", on Woodbourne Road, just North of Oxford Valley Mall, in Langhorne, since 1971. In recent years I saw Dr. Ruppersberger, but he doesn't do Obstetrics anymore. The last time I went I saw a female Doctor and her name is Dr. Shwartz. She was really nice, I liked her a lot! Infact, I need to remember to make an appointment with her myself! Good Luck!

This one's perfect for you ~ so close to you, and a great support staff!

I see Dr Kuhn there... he's got a great bedside manner, very personable & friendly.

I dont have any info for the doctor, but I absolutly LOVE St Marys. They are always friendly and helpful, seems as though relationships are important. Good luck!

Congrats to you!! I recently delivered at St Mary's, end of March. I delivered my first at Jeanes and then when I was pregnant with my second they no longer delivered. My gyn recommended me to Jay Rothberg at St Mary's. I can truly say that I had a very positive experience with him and his staff. I had been so used to my gyn and was hesitant about going somewhere else, not that I had much of a choice. Dr Rothberg is just a really nice and down to earth doctor. His staff was always kind, even with some of my craziness. Sometimes his office can be a bit packed, but I guess that says something about him! And I also LOVED St Mary's Hosp. Everyone I had contact with was very supportive and nurturing and kind. I am just really glad that my previous gyn recommended Rothberg and St. Mary's, considering I live closer to other hospitals, because I had a very positive experience. I honestly plan to go back to them when I decide to have another baby. I really hope this helps you and that you also have very positive experiences.
