Need Nice Park with Shelter for 1St Birthday

Hello, I am in need of a nice park with a shelter to have my son's 1 st birthday in August. I have called Lake Park and Redmond Park and they are both booked. I want to be able to barbeque, but I also want a play area for the kids. I am looking for a park in the O'Hare area. Thanks!

Not sure where you are located but if you are close to Wheaton they have a lot of different parks to choose from. One I chose for my daughters birthday had shelter, park directly next to the shelter, and an area to barbecue..

Lombard Park District has many fantastic sheltered and indoor areas for rent with parks right next to them. We have used the "Lagoon" and "Log Cabin" before and all the kids and parents enjoy that the park is available to keep the kids busy and happy :)

Now that I know you tried Redmond Park, in Bensenville I am assuming, you might try Deer Grove Leisure center there and see if they have something else in the area. I know they have a spot with a shelter but you are also next door to the Water park. I don't have the phone number handy, but I see people having outdoor celebrations under a shelter there. Look up Bensenville Park District.

The park out in Aurora is beautiful! It has a small zoo,park and picnic area. I love it!
