Need New Umbrella stroller...suggestions?

I am in need of a new umbrella stroller. It needs to be easy to fold and lightweight for traveling. I would like to stay under $100. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I went to Babies R Us and bought a Chicco brand umbrella stroller. It seemed like a nice stroller and it wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive. I think that I will be happy with my choice. There were a lot of nice stollers, but this one seemed to fit my needs. After reading all the responses, everyone seemed to be pretty happy with the stollers that they had, so I figured that I couldn't go wrong. I can't wait to try it out. I am keeping it in the box until after my son's birthday. He can have the fun of unwrapping it, and I can have the fun of using it! :) Thanks again for all the help!

The best umbrella stroller, as well as the lightest one on the market today, is the UPPAbaby G-Lite stroller. There is a link to UPPAbaby's site at http://uggamugga.blogspot.com/2008/03/uppababy-vista-stro....

And the stroller is $99! You won't be sorry!!!

The Maclaren (spelling) stroller tops tops. Easy to maneuver(great for getting through store doors single handedly), easy fold, travels well, light, rain cover, shoulder strap and I got one new for $140 online bid. If you never want to buy another umbrella stroller this is it. No, I don't work for the company. :) I am just sold.

I bought a Kolcraft one that is exclusively sold at Babies-r-us. There are lots of colors to choose from and it was under $20. I traveled with my 4 month old son alone at Thanksgiving and it was so easy to use and he didn't mind sitting in it. It was very easy to fold and clip together with one hand while holding my baby in the other. Hope this helps.

I love my Chicco (the new model). It has a basket underneath, and is so easy to collapse with one hand and open with one hand. It is $99 at babies R us. I have taken it on the plane many times and is by far the easiest to get through security and fast to collapse at the gate.

I got our at Toys 'R' Us for about 20$. It is all of the things you listed as wanting in an umbrella stroller. I think the brand is Kohlkraft. It has held up very well and we have had it a year or so. It even has a sun shade (not spectacular)and a pocket on the back (a must).

you can find a cheap light weight one at walmart for 12 dollars.

We have a "Chicco" brand umbrella stroller. Not sure of the model number but we love it! It is the 3rd one we have had - our little one is nearly 3 and I wish I had bought this one at the beginning. We spent about $80 but well worth every penny. It's very easy to open and fold (can even do it one handed now). I did have some trouble with it when we first got it and do have to show other people how to open it when they take it but that is because it isn't like the others - it's actually easier and better once you figure it out. Good luck!
