Need New Primary Care Doctor

Hi,
I was also going to recommend Dr Miller. Is he the same one?!
The Dr Miller I know is an MD and an ND and an RNG! - really nice guy. He teaches at our school, NCNM and has shifts at our school clinic, see ncnm.edu, but prob also has private shifts elsewhere. I don't think there are many MD's who are really ND's out there yet but there are some really excellent ND's. One I know of who is very much in the scientific camp, a clinical researcher at OHSU but also a practicing naturopath is Dr Gene Bowman, practicising at the Urban Wellness Group, on SE Division and 49th. He could give you the best of both worlds.

just out of curosity why do you want an MD internist over a naturopathic doctor? naturopaths are very well trained to act as primary care docs as well as having four years of training in natural medicine. if it is an insurance issue, many more policies cover naturopaths as primary care and will cover labs/imaging ordered as well. if none of that convinces you :) Dr. Rotter is SW PDX is good. i don't have his info on me but i'm sure you can google him. if you want references for really skilled naturopaths send me a personal message and will help you find someone who can meet your needs.

I just started going to Dr Ilana Gurivich. ###-###-#### at the Kwan Yin Healing Center. SHe was great on my first visit she was with me for 1 and half hours. She is a Naruopathic doc.

I wasn't sure if you were looking for yourself or kiddo, but if your looking for one for your son, I have the best pediatrician EVER! He concentrates on the alternative/naturopatic areas & applies them to pediatric medicine. His name is Paul Thomas & right now he is a part of Westside Pediatric Clinic, but due to his more conservative/alternative medicine, he will be opening his own practice called Integrative Pediatrics on June 1st.
