Need New Obgyn & Hospital

Help! I am 6 weeks pregnant and need to find a new obgyn. i prefer a female, but i am open. I delivered my son at Banner Desert, but im interested in going to Chandler Regional. Do any moms have any suggestions on a good obgyn, someone with some heart or spunk. Also, if you have anything to say about Chandler Regional (or other hospitals) please let me know. Your advise and time is greatly appreciated!

What can I do next?

I have an absolutely wonderful OBGYN, 3 of my friends go to the office and I was referred by a mother daughter combo that goes there. He was the top OBGYN for Arizona 4yrs in a row. Dr Harry Watters.###-###-####, if you google him he has nothing but absolutely wonderful and amazing things listed. They have their own lab and ultra sound office so everything is done there, which is so convenient. There are also 2 other dr's in the office and a ton of wonderful super friendly midwives. They are located on Warner between Arizona Ave and Alma School. I know they deliver at Chandler and Desert Samaritan. I personally very much prefer Desert Sam. I delivered my son there and was there quite a bit thru my entire pregnancy for complications. Beautiful labor and delivery wing and wonderful staff.

My mother had surgery at Chandler she was there for 7 days, I personally felt the staff was lazy, the hospital didnt feel clean at all and my mother was very disappointed in the amount of care they gave after. Just a personal opinion.

Dr Julie Adams is the best She is located in Gilbert Her # is ###-###-####

Also Chandler Regional is wonderful I had the best delivery nurse ever. All the nurses and staff were just wonderful. The girls in the nursery were so helpful and wonderful with our son.

I had a great experience over at Todays Women's Health Specialists (warner & Arizona). This is Dr. Harry Watters office(very popular). They have several women there as well as midwives. They will deliver you at Chandler if you's like. They also have onsite utltrasound.

I saw Linda Yess CNMW, she was great. She often gave me hugs and made me feel at ease when I had questions and issues.

CHandler was a great hospital, the only thing that I didn't like was the postpartum rooms. They are kinda small if you are expecting lots of visitors. I had a C-Section and was their for several days!

Good Luck and Congratulations!

For an OBGYN, I can give you my whole-hearted recommendation for Dr. David N. Kells, and Ana Amato, CN/Mid-Wife. The pracitce is called Boojum Obstetrics, they are RIGHT behind Chandler Regional. The address is 655 South Dobson Road, Suite 101, the phone number is ###-###-####.
I had a daughter with them @ Chandler Reg., and so did my sister-in-law, her sister (2 kids!) and numerous friends. He is the most kind Dr. I have ever encountered, and he NEVER makes you feel rushed, or 2nd guesses your opions. Ana is new to his practice, but I have liked her very much too so far.

Chandler Regional is very, very busy but I had a wonderful experience there, and they recently expanded to meet the growing demand of the area.

Good luck with everything!!
