I am looking for in-home or facility for my daughter in the prairie village area. She will be 3 in september and will start pre-school next fall(2010). It would just be over a year. If anyone knows of anything that is under $200 a week. Thanks

What can I do next?

E., I know you are looking in PV, but if you perhaps work in the Shawnee, Olathe area I have an opening. My home is near K-7 and College Blvd. I charge $200. a week.

If you'd like more information, please contact me.

Thank you and Good Luck, M. Genter ###-###-####

Daycare Connection can give you a great referral list for licensed in-home daycare providers...MANY of which are under $200. I wish you lived in Olathe, because I know a few who have openings! DCC # is ###-###-####. Good luck!

E.,
Have you given any thought to working with AuPairCare to find an au pair to come and stay with your little girl? The cost averages out to $320 a week (which is, I know a bit more than you were hoping to pay), but an au pair can provide childcare while you're at work and, if you don't use all your hours during the work day, she can babysit so you can have a date night!!!
Au pairs live in your home for one to two years and may work 45 hours per week and up to 10 hours per day. While a daycare provider will only watch your little girl, an au pair can engage her in educational activities, teach her a new language, and help get her laundry done and her meals prepared so you can come home from work each evening and actually enjoy some fun family time!
If you want to learn more about the au pair program, give me a call at ###-###-#### or visit our website at www.AuPairCare.com
Thanks!
M.
