Need a Mascara Recommendation

I have tried every drugstore mascara known to man and have been unsatisfied with the results. I have very short fine lashes and seemingly every product that claims to be "volumizing" clumps terribly (even those that claim not to). I think it is time I upgraded and tried something from a cosmetic counter, but I have no idea where to start. Does anyone have a mascara they LOVE?

OK,

Just in case you wanted something other than Lancome....(ha) I have fine lashes as well, and it seems they are even thinner since the birth of my baby. I went to sephora in Stonebriar Mall and asked them for the BEST MASCARA they had. They sold me DIOR mascara. It is a dark navy blue bottle with silver lettering on it, and on one side it sais Diorshow...anyway, my lashes have NEVER looked this good!!!

Lancome makes great mascara. The new Chanel "inimitable" is fantastic--better than Lancome. Also, Dior makes a really great one that thickens. They all range $22-28. Go to Neimans and talk to the ladies...they'll help you.

I have a reccomendation. I love my mascara so much that I started to sell it. Try the Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara. Here is a product description. It's $15 but I wouldn't use anything else.

Exclusive, all-in-one formula delivers long, thick, voluminous-looking lashes. And it has Smart Wiper™ technology that delivers the exact amount of mascara you need for maximum plumping – without the clumping.

You can look at it on my website www.marykay.com/J..valenzuela

Hope this helps.

Hi! I feel that I too have tried (and thrown away) every mascara on the planet. Arbonne International came out with an AWESOME new mascara last April (just so you know, I wasn't really fond of the mascara they had before.) But, I absolutely love the new one! Here's some info about it:

About Face Lash Colour
Two in one, this product is a combination of a colorless primer agent that conditions and preps lashes, and a mascara that offers water-resistant lash coloring. This formula won’t irritate lids and offers extended wear … that’s easy to remove. Each product includes a precision wand that defines, lengthens and separates lashes … for a truly glamorous look that lasts, in 2 shades: Black and Brown/Black.

Key Ingredients: Sandalwood, nettle and rosemary extracts, vitamin C and E

Skin Types: All

If you'd like to try some it retails for $22, but I offer all my clients wholesale prices which makes it only $14.30! Also, Arbonne offers a 45-day money-back guarantee! If you're interested, you can contact me at: ____@____.com or www.mandyolsen.myarbonne.com or ###-###-####. Good luck finding something that works for you!

I would also through out the YSL (Yves St. Laurent) mascara. It volumizes perfectly. It's a bit on the pricey side at $28, but in my opinion definitely worth it. You can get it at Saks at Willow Bend.

I agree that Lancome makes great mascara. My favorite is their Definicils. I also like SuperNova mascara. I am not sure of the maker. But it is sold at Sephora. Good luck.

Hi - I work in the cosmetic industry. I have worked for both Lancome and YSL. In my opinion, YSL has one called Faux Cils - it's amazing! Even better than Hypnose by Lancome! Always ensure you replace your mascara every 3 months (2 months is better). Also, don't pump the mascara, it dries it out quickly. You'll love it.

The Arbonne mascara is the best I've ever used! WAter resistant too so no smudges, no runs! You can also be assured there aren't any harmful ingredients that could irritate your eyes. Arbonne is formulated with only the purest safest ingredients. Even some of the high end brands you buys at the mall contain harmful ingredients, by products, etc. A friend of mine has a daughter in competitive cheer and has to wear mascara. Arbonne is the ONLY one she can wear that doesnt' make her eyes irritated and water!!

There's a 45 day no risk guarantee, what do you have to lose? Here's my website, http://www.jennifercaldwell.myarbonne.com

I'd be happy to get you one to try :)

Hello!

It sounds like you are like me--can't stand clumpy mascara! Well, I LOVE Arbonne's Lash Colour. It doesn't clump up, plus it has a primer that conditions and preps your lashes and a water-resistant lash color all in one! It comes in 2 colors: black or brown/black. It retails at $22, but since you are a fellow Mama, you are more than welcome to have it at my discount, 35%. The cost would be $14.30 plus tax. As a bonus, Arbonne offers a 45 day moeny-back guarantee, so you can't lose!

Have a wonderful day!
