I like to take long walks in the morning with my almost 4 & 2 yr old & 2 large dogs. That worked great with our double stroller we had since my son was born, but it recently broke. What I am wondering is what I should get for the replacement. I really need info on the best thing to purchase since my children are large they are both close to 40 lbs each so I need something sturdy & large enough that they will be comfortable in. Something affordable also since I will not be able to or need to use it for much longer & something that is easy to handle while walking 2 large dogs. Any info on double strollers would be appreciated also if anybody closeby has a used one they want to get rid of!
Thanks
Brekka

I have a Schwinn bike trailer for two children. It comes with a built-in stroller wheel so you can easily use it as a stroller. It comes with the handle bar too. I use it as a stroller and also with my bike. It works with well with my 2 and 4 years old, who are 30 and 40 pounds. I had a Graco double stroller when they were little. Now the kids get more room in this bike trailer/stroller. What's more is it's easy to push too.

I found it on clearance in my local retail store ShopKo, which is like Target. It probably costs between $120 and $200 if you can find it at Target or some place like Target.

Have you tried a wagon. Our kids are 4 & 2 also, and we've pretty much converted from our double stroller to a Step2 wagon.

I can promise you this isn't going ot be the reponse you are looking for because I am in the same situation that you are in. I recently saw a WONDERFUL double stroller with the brand name of Vasco, maybe Valco, from Australia and it was everything I needed, except it was $800. Now I am broken-hearted :( We are expecting our third and are in desperate need of a double. If you happen to find anything that's great besides the Graco and others that you can find in WalMart PLEASE email me!! I have been searching high and low to avail and I really need one. If I find something that's fantastic and affardable in my lo0oking I'll write ya again and let you know. Thanks again!

Brekka,
I like to take long walks and bike rides with my 3 and 4 yeard olds. We found that the lightest and easiest stroller was the DuoWalker from InStep. They aare a little more, but the hold up to 100 lbs. The wheels are actual tires that you inflate. Our doudle stoller is on it's last leg and does not push well. This one is great because I can put the wheel on it and walk with it, or attach it to my bike and we can take a bike ride. It pushes so easy. You can check out other ones at the InStep website. Good luck.
