Need Independent Insurance Agent or Broker - Richardson, Texas
Hi,
I'm looking to find an independent insurance agent that can look into different insurance companies and find the best price for us. We are specifically looking for home and automobile coverage right now. We currently have auto through Geico and the house insurance from State Farm. Geico has been great but our rates keep going up (despite a good driving record and paying off both of our cars in full). State Farm has now decided that they can no longer offer us house insurance at our current deductible unless we get car insurance from them, but their car insurance quote was much much higher than Geico's. I'd love to find out who you refer! Thanks.

try Dallas Best Mortgage. www.dallasbestmortgage.com I know that they have an insurance department and that insurance company is who we have our insurance with. I don't think they can provide you quotes of other companies, but they could definitely give you their quote. Tell them that B. Moore referred you. We are good friends with the owners Lynne and Andy Wang.

I switched to Bankhead Insurance when I bought my house some years back - they are in Lake Highlands (off Plano near 635) and they are just awesome! so friendly, kind and on top of things....good luck!

Barney saved us a lot of money. We have our home and cars through Traveler's now and save a couple hundred dollars and month. I sent him my current policies w/o the cost and he ran the numbers through several companies and Traveler's came back with the best rates. We had State Farm before that and they kept going up and up. Good luck. FYI. You need to use a broker.

I use Walker Insurance Services - ###-###-####. The website is insurewithwalker.com. We moved to them 3 years ago and saved hundreds of dollars. We ended up with Traveler's for both our car and home. We have had them check rates periodically and Traveler's has been the best for us. We had our son added to our insurance and it was really reasonable. He had an accident and Traveler's handled in wonderfully. It was totally painless and our rates didn't go up. If you decide to go with them, you can say that I sent you there - J. Doetzkies.
