Need Ideas for Cake Saying for Baby Shower

The cake I just made for a client said "An Angel in Waiting" and then her name.
Another one I did we put "snakes, snails and puppy dog tails, thats what little boys are made of"

My shower cake had a large pretty blue umbrella drawn on it and blue "raindrop" dots all around it. On the bottom it said "Showers of Happiness".

The store should have some examples to give you ideas. Like the previous poster, my hostest had the invite picture copied onto the cake.

HI J.! So exciting, you will love having a boy! I would suggest getting online and looking up different stationary companies. Some of them could have some really cute ideas and sayings without being copyrighted. The other suggestion I have is calling Hearts Desire in Frisco ###-###-#### and asking for Sherri. For my cake when I was having my boy, they put baby booties in blue, baby bottles, and little rubber duckies. It does not necessarily have to have a saying.

The package of most invitations should have a website where you can find a local store that has the rights to make the cake. If not, I always have my cakes done at the Target in Mansfield and I asked about the copyright thing and she said no problem with copying my invitations because the wording was different.

I think with my first one it had Congratulations on it. My other two showers were real elegant ladies tea brunch. So the cake were pentifors with different decor to match the decor of the shower theme! It was real nice because I have 3 boys now and any type of girlie, elegance in my life is appreciated. Let me just say boys are so fun and loud. Get your running shoes ready because everything about them is physical. Congratulations!

Just match the cake to the the theme of the baby shower. If you are doing ducks, have a duck cake, or blocks and bootites, do that or polka dots and stripes.

They may not be able to copy the invite b/c of copywrite, but they can at least make a design to match with the colors. I'm shocked they didn't give you that option. Oh, my cake just said Congratulations! on it. Have fun!

Boy Oh Boy What a Joy, is what was on my shower cake.

You can make it say anything you want! Welcome baby boy or put Welcome then babies name or congratulations. For my shower- the hostess took my shower invitation to the bakery and they decorated the cake to match it. Bakeries will have lots of ideas also. Good Luck and enjoy!

Congratulations! I'm pregnant with my third boy! So I'm wondering what to put on that cake! Yikes!
