Need Help with Home Organization
I usually pride myself on my organization---but that was before having two little boys. I'm at a point where I just cant stand looking at my bedroom because it's SO disorganized. I need help with organizing everything from my linen closets to kitchen cabinets to the garage, etc. The only rooms that are organized are my boys' rooms (thank goodness). Well, their rooms need a little help but their rooms were the priority when we moved back to Daly City. All the other rooms just had to "be."
Is there any home-organizer expert out here in Daly City or in the Peninsula that I can pay to help me 1) figure out the best way to organize things, 2) recommend the best possible containers to hold items (I don't want to have to re-buy things) and 3) actually DO the organizing.
If I weren't so super busy with work and the two boys when I get home, I would be able to do this on my own.
Help! :-)
Thanks!

This woman is phenomenal arrangebyannie.com She looked at my basement, took a few photos and came back to me with this incredibly detailed plan. She will purge, organize, sort for you - and she is amazing.

Flylady.net has really helped me get a handle on my home. They won't come in and do it for you, but will help you do it yourself - one baby step at a time - and if you find someone to do it for you, then this could help you maintain it.
Best wishes.

Hi there!
I'm with you with the full time job and the two boys! Yikes, they're like little cyclones! One thing that has totally helped us is my husband's minimallism. Truly, if you don't have as much stuff, it's easier to keep tidy.
He's always asking us to remove the excess, by:
*Taking a paper box and asking us to put the things we want to keep, removing the rest. Or, in reverse, challenging us to fill it for charity.
*Bringing in two boxes of stuff and allowing only 1 to return.
It's so hard for me, with my save-it-for later and frugal tendancies, but in truth, it's also liberating, because I no longer have responsibilities for all these loose ends.
Best of luck!

I know the perfect person . She is incredible. In just a few hours she makes a huge difference. She also listens carefully, and so you don't feel rail roaded....you feel as if someone came up with the brilliant ideas that you needed. She is also very good at re-arranging a room and making it look far more attractive. her name is Lisa Breschi Almond and her number is ###-###-####. I highly highly recommend her.
Plus she is fun to work with.
