Need Good Hair Salon Recommendation in Lee's Summit!

Hey Ladies! I am fairly new to the LS area and I am in need of a hair stylist. Not only one for myself, but also for my 2 year old. Does anyone have someone that they just absolutely LOVE (and don't mind sharing)? My son is a little leary about getting his haircut, so for him a fun place and/or patient person would be best! Thank you in advance!!

What can I do next?

I have a friend named Alexa that works at Fantastic Sam's in L.S. off of Rice Rd. She does a GREAT job, and it's VERY inexpensive. I also know someone named Katie at Salon Allure, and I'm not sure exactly where that's located, but it is in Lee's Summit...she used to cut my hair a while back, and is a friend, but her prices are higher than what I can afford right now. Hope you find someone you like!

I go to Sam at Studio 500 on 3rd Street. (Seems to be a trend of good salons in downtown LS.) I really like Sam a lot and she really listens to me and also suggests updates to my style with out being pushy.
As for your son's hair, I take my son to John's Barber Shop just north of 3rd on Douglas. It is a really nice environment and they have a train table to play at while he waits.

Hi M., I go to Absolute Hair in Lee's Summit, they are on 3rd street and the number there is ###-###-####. I see Lori there. She also does pedicure's and does a great job. I do not trust my hair to very many people as I have had it destroyed a couple of times so when I find someone good who does what I want them to do I stick with them. 2 of my Grandkids go to her as well and they really like her.....She can do trendy or whatever you would like....I am a young grandma by the way. :) Good luck!

I go to Stephanie Johnson at Fantastic Sam's on 291. She is great with adults and with kids. I really love her! It is also very reasonably priced. She is a mom herself and is very experienced and patient with kids.
Good Luck!

I go to Hairy's on third street. The girl I see is Tanya and I think she is wonderful. The phone number is ###-###-####.

A little bit of a drive but there is a really fun place with reasonable prices up north at Zona Rosa. It is called Shear Madness. The boys can play vdeo games and sit in race cars, etc. The girls are princesses. They have really cute products for kids as well.

My kids and I go to Veronica at Salon Par (a salon close to Lakewood). She has 6 kids and is AWESOME with kids. My kids starting going to her when they were around 2 & 4 and they loved her....she is incredibly patient!! Their number is ###-###-####!!
