Need Formal Dress for Niece!!

My niece's prom is at the end of the month & I have just convinced her that she HAS to go. She has put in a lot of work toward it & didn't want to go because of money issues. Anyway, I want to get her a dress but, like everyone else, we don't have a ton of money. Can anyone suggest a resale shop or something of that nature that will have nice dresses for affordable prices? Thanks!

What can I do next?

We tried the Diva Lounge but they had stuff for smaller sizes. We finally found one at JC Penneys. Normally $50...marked down to $30! Woohoo

I just got one for my daughter's Princess Tea Party for $9.99 at the Goodwill. lol My daughter said that EVERYONE had to dress up; so, my mom and I bought fancy dresses. lol

They had some really GORGEOUS ones that I wished I fit into. hee hee Anyway, I know my aunt got one, too, for her daughter's friend (who was helping with the party) for $9.99 and it was really beautiful (coral color, no tears or stains, etc...VERY nice condition.

Best wishes!

also you might just go to the mall & look at the clearance racks bc a lot of times you can find a great dress on the cheap! you just have to have time to go look through everything! (take a look at DEB in the mall they usually have great prices too!)

I was on my way to work out this morning and saw some formal dresses hanging outside of a resale shop in Keller off of 377 called The Diva Lounge. Also, there is a store off of Grapevine Hwy in Richland Hills (across from where the old North Hills Mall use to be) called Half Off Of Half. My sister got her prom dress there. You might want to check these places out. Good luck!

Try the clearance racks at Dillards in the Northeast Mall. I buy all my formal wear there and have spent as little as $10.00 for a formal gown.

I have two beautiful dresses that I would like to sell for $30.00 they are a size adult 6.
