Need Fitness Place/ideas

I really need to loose a few pounds but don't have a lot of money to spend on a gym membership. Does anyone know an affordable place to work out or for aerobics (preferably no contracts)? Child care is not an issue. -or-

Anyone a member at Curves? How much does it cost?

What can I do next?

Lady Of America has a 3 mth no contract for $99.
I haven't started working out there yet but have my first consultation with a Lady of America employee tomorrow.
That's the only special they could tell me "over the phone."
I just prefer a place with only women so I'm gonna start going there.
Good luck in finding the right place.

i go to curves at park and ohio and love it! its about $34 a month and there is a year contract but you can break the contract for a very minimal fee - they also let you go and try it before you sign up - its only 30 minutes 3 days a week - i lost about 5 lbs and 6.5 inches total the first month- its fun and the people are very friendly

I used to be a member of LA Fitness and you can do month to month for 29.99 no contract.

Try Express Fitness. I know for sure there is one in Allen at Main and Greenville and also one in Plano at Coit and Spring Creek. I only pay $12.99 per month.

I would check out some of the city run facilities. I live in Allen and belong to the city gym here, for residents it is $14 a month includes swimming, weights and cardio machines. No contract. I think there is a YMCA in Plano too - that might be a good option too. Good luck!

Hi there. I'm thinking about joining this group called Stroller Strides. They're opening one up in July. I'm not sure but it sounds great because I'll be able to bring my little man. I get so little time with him somedays!

I am a member of Curves - I pay $30 a month - you are in a contract the 1st year - after that month to month. It's fun there - you just have to go! Once you start - you want to go!! It's just so hard to get started and stay with it!
