Need ENT Doctor Referral for Snoring 4 Year Old

My 4 year old son needs to see an ENT specialist. He snores terribly and I'm afraid it is affecting his sleep and that he'll need his adenoids taken out (my older son had the same trouble 12 years ago). We are new to St. Charles/O'Fallon area and I am hoping for a good referral as opposed to just blindly picking a new doctor. Thanks so much fellow moms for your help!

What can I do next?

There are 3 really good pediatric ENT's at St. John's.

Dr. Timothy Reichert at St. John's is awesome. He is great with kids.

Dr Conoyer is, in our entire family's eyes, the very BEST ENT doctor in the entire St Louis region! He is absolutely phenomenol! Our oldesat has a recurring tumor in her nose that causes frequent severe nose bleeds. Two other ENT's just shrugged it off as dry air but Dr. Conoyer found it the first visit and was caring and soft with our baby every step of the way. He is thorough and careful and I trust him with both of my children's lives! (That is saying A LOT coming from me as I truly don't trust the medical community all that much)
His office is the MidWest ENT Centre over by St Peters BJ hospital. You won't be sorry. Even his nurses are great!

We live in St. Charles too and we used John J. Bonacorsi. His office is in O'Fallon. It is 300 Winding Woods Dr. ###-###-####. He was wonderful when our daughter needed tubes in her ears. Let me know how it goes.

Hi! Dr. John Bonacorsi in O'Fallon is excellent and so is is partner. They also have an office in Bridgeton, MO. I called on them ( in sales) for 7 years a few years ago.

I would refer you to Michael Conoyer at Midwest ENT in St. Peters. Their telephone number is ###-###-####. He is in the same group with Karen Boone. They are both excellent physicians. I note that someone suggested Dr. Bonacorsi. I had one bad experience with him with my oldest son, then decided to try again with my second son since he was highly recommended, and then had another bad experience. My oldest did have his adenoids and tonsils taken out and it cured his snoring too. Good luck and welcome to the St. Charles area!!

My son was 4 when he had his adenoids out - he was also a loud snorer - although that was not the only reason he had them removed - but it certainly helped that! We went to Dr Lou (I believe that is how she spells it) - she was out of Children's Hospital towards the city - I am not familiar with one in St. Charles.

We have had several ENTs over the years but one who was mentiond here I will not give the name. didnt like. But Dr. Forson from st johns he usd to be at St louis Children is a great one. So is Dr Molter at Childrens. Good luck. C.

We were referred to Dr. Karen Boone from our children's pediatrician when my daughter was almost 20 months old. She ended up needing her tonsils and adenoids out since they were enlarged, causing her breathing issues. Anyway she's great and she's a mother of 3-4 kids, so she understands what you as a mother, face with kids.
