I'm pregnant with my third. I delivered at University Hospital with my second, and it was a pretty bad experience. They had no delivery rooms, I labored all the way through transition in triage, and delivered in a stock room. Anyway, I've heard St. Lukes Baptist is amazing. So I'm on the hunt for a good Dr. who delivers there. I am also 21 weeks already and this would be my first visit to a Dr. for this pregnancy. Long story. So I'm sort of in a hurry, and need someone who's accepting new patients. Any suggestions?
I can't think of the name of the group but in the medical tower right next door to st. lukes is an ob/gyn office with tons of doctors. Something like womens health institue.I think they take up the entire 9th floor. All the doctors are excellent though. Good luck, and st lukes is great for delivering.
St Lukes is great. I delivered all three of my kids there. The Institute for women's health delivers there and has many locatioins across town and the doctors there are wonderful. Hope this is helpful.
Hi! I went to Dr. Karen Carcamo and she is with the Institute for Women's Health. She delivers at St. Lukes. I had my last 2 sons there and they are great at St. Lukes.

I delivered at methodist on floyd curl twice and had the best experiance ever! Dr lackritz was my doctor and his office is across the street at methodist plaza 4900 floyd curl. The # is ###-###-#### in case you are interested. Everyone, right down to the lady who answers the phone is awesome!
I delivered my daughter at St. Luke's 5 weeks ago and it was great. I used Lonestar Midwives and had a great experience. I'm pretty sure they are accepting new patients and they are great. Hope that helps and good luck.
Institute for womens health. Dr. Valdez, he is a wonderful doctor. His office is at IH35 between Judson and Topperwien. He is only there on Tues. and Thurs. I have been going to him for awhile now, and he is just wonderful. I have never had a long wait to see him. I delivered 2 babies at St. Lukes and it was a great experience. Good luck to you.
I dont know if this doctor delivers at St. Lukes, but I do know he delivers at SW Methodist. The Methodist hospital was great!! The nurses are wonderful and very attentive. If you ask them for something, they bring it back to you almost immediately. The hospital is very clean and up to date and there is plenty of labor/delivery rooms. When I first saw this doctor I was in my 14th week. I didnt have medical ins. so I had to save up some money to start seeing them. They let you pay in installments. The Dr.s name is Kittrell. A male cacausin. He has 2 offices, one on San Pedro and one in the medical center area. I went to the San Pedro office. Great staff! But I would have preferred the medical center office. (much nicer) but I was allready in here at this location. His number is ###-###-#### this is for the San Pedro location. Do be warned though, that this is a family planning center. So there are women there having other procedures preformed. But the pregnant women are in a seperate office. I hope this helps you out. Good Luck.

I think the people at Lone Star OB/GYN deliver at St. Luke's. At least they are part of the Baptist Health System. Call ###-###-####. I used the midwives but a Cerny-Lecock did my C-section (was shooting for a VBAC). I thought they were all amazing. I can't say enough nice things. I delivered at St. Luke and my daughter is happy and healthy. Our doctor was Dr. Valentin Almendarez. He was awesome. I highly recommend him and if I was to ever have another he would be my Dr. again in a heartbeat. He was also my sister's Dr. and delivered my two nieces, and he is located close to the hospital. Forgot to tell you it is called the Women's Health Institute and is located right next to hospital and takes up the entire 9th floor. Dr. Karen Carcamo helped to deliver my daughter also and she works with him.
Dr.Valdez at the institute for womens health right next door to St. Lukes. He's wonderful!! St. Lukes is a great place to have your baby!
Hi I love the midwives at Lone Star Ob Gyn. I had all my prenatal care w them. And if you want a MD, Jennifer Jacobs was great for my C section in May. I had a good experience at St Lukes for both my deliveries. I have no idea if they're accepting new pts. ###-###-####
Oh you poor dear. I am so sorry for your terrible experiance. Dr. John Kellum is a great doctor and he delivers at St. Lukes. He was doctor and I delivered there as well.this is information:

I definitely recommend the midwives at Lone Star OB/GYN! I delivered my second son with them at St. Luke's. Their offices are the building right next door to the hospital. I was terrified to deliver in a hospital because my first son was born at a birth center out of town. They were so great there! Good luck!
