I highly recommend Dr Eric Jacoby. I , too had a high risk pregnancy due to multiple miscarriages. He has awesome bedside manners. His number is ###-###-####. He practices at Presby Allen and Baylor Frisco.

I had my 2nd at Baylor Frisco in May. I really liked it! The room was spacious and clean, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the patient/nurse ratio is really low, so you get a good amount of attention, should you need it. They were relatively unobtrusive, too, unlike my experience at Medical Center Plano. At MCP, they were always walking in at all hours of the day and they always took priority. But at Baylor Frisco, they always knocked, asked if we could accommodate them, etc. Such a different atmosphere! They provide a tray for your partner at every meal, too, which was nice--my husband didn't have to run out and eat fast food at every meal. The food was pretty good, too. The NICU is small. It is a relatively new maternity wing, but the staff is experienced. I was the only Mom in delivery on a Friday morning and I had everyone's full attention. They have an Open House on Tuesday evenings. You could swing by to visit.
My doctor is David Fong (www.davidfongmd.com). We really like him and have had 2 babies with him. He's a high risk & fertility specialist, board certified, etc. He talks directly to you (versus the wall, your partner, his computer) and is willing to explain/discuss things with you. Your family is always welcomed at any of your visits, too.
Good luck with your decision and congrats on the baby!

I go to Dr. Steven Harris. He has an office at both Baylor locations. I am not sure if the Frisco location has a NICU, or if they do what the level is (which is also important).

Dr. Eric Jacoby delivers at Baylor Frisco and Presby Plano. He is THE best OB. LOVE him. I've had 2 preemies in the NICU and I really liked Plano Presby. My SIL had a baby in NICU at Baylor frisco just a few months ago. The hospital is really nice and I'm sure the NICU is fine, but I preferred Plano Presby's. It's much bigger and you have more privacy with your baby. Also, our babies were in NICU for the same amount of time with the same issues and treatments and her NICU bill was about $10,000 more. That may not matter with your insurance but just an observation. She and her husband were given steak and lobster dinners the night before she was released though. Just a congrats on the new baby thing! Plano Presby didn't offer steak and lobster but the food was REALLY good anyway!

Dr. Christopher Riegel is located next to Presby Plano and he is awesome! He has delivered all 3 of my children and he never rushes me in and out and takes the time to answer any and all of my questions (even when I am not pregnant).
His number is ###-###-####
Best of luck!

Baylor of Frisco has a small NICU. Baylor of Frisco is very up scale as far as L&D is concerned they even give you a steak and Lobster dinner the night that you leave. Baylor downtown is much larger and has a large NICU that several other hospitals that have smaller NICU's will transfer the babys because of the level of care that BUMC can provide. That being said if you deliver very early your baby may be transferred downtown while you are still in the Hospital. If you are able to hold on to your pregnancy longer and deliver at 34 to 35 weeks and the only problem is prematurity you should be more than fine at Baylor Frisco. Just a FYI breast milk is best for premature infants so try and start pumping as soon as you can after delivery. Sorry I do not have any information about OB's that practice at Baylor of Frisco.

My son was in the NICU there for three weeks and one day! Aside from the emotional trauma of having my child there, the staff was so supportive and so welcoming, not to mention they did an awesome job taking care of our little one. I have ZERO complaints about the Baylor Frisco NICU!! And I second Dr. Boyd who delivers there. She is awesome!

Another vote for Dr. Suzette Boyd. She has been my Dr. for over 5 years. She delivered my 2nd daughter almost 5 years ago and has been with me through breast cancer. She will spend however long you need and answer as many questions as you have, hence you may have to wait a little at your appointments. She has 4 young children of her own. I don't anything about the NICU, but have heard nothing but good things about the Women's Center there. My oldest daughter had her tonsils out at that hospital and we had a great experience there. I've heard the labor, delivery and recovery are the nicest around. I hope this helps and that you have a smooth delivery with a healthy baby.
