Need Affordable Interior Painter for Daughters Room ASAP!

That seems really high. I just had a bathroom, front door, master bed & bath and a nursery painted for $925 that includes paint and everything! I would not recommend the gentleman I used... LOL or I else I would give you his contact information. I had 4 different painters come and quote us prices and I took the middle of the road painter (not the cheapest and not the most), so it was not like I way underpaid or anything.

You may trying to go to one of those stores like Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore and ask them who they would recommend.

We had our house redone a few years ago and went with Mean's Painting for the job. They did the entire interior of the house. I know that for the whole house they charged us around $3600, and we had to supply all the paint. This was actually the lowest quote that we got, most painters were charging 4700 to 5300, so Mr. Means was more than reasonable. I would think for a small bedroom they could do it for less than $500. I would definitely give them a call. We would not hesitate to use them again, Charles (the owner) was very nice, and it is a family business so his brother and other family members are the ones doing the actual labor. They got it done in a timely manner and we were very pleased.

Southern Painting does a great job, but if you are only doing 1 room that might be part of the issue. Check out your local Home Depot and Lowe's as they might have list of local contractors.
