I don't know about McKinney, but in Plano you can rent them at Texas Star Pharmacy at Independence and Parker.

How often does your mom visit? You might be better off buying one - I think local pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens may have them, or will have a recommendation. Your doctor may be able to recommend a rental agency.

L.,
There is a group home in Allen that will loan you one. I recently borrowed one after my surgery.
I am sorry I don't still have the number. I got the phone number from the McKinney Senior Center--ask for Suzanne if the receptionist doesn't know.

Northside Pharmacy in McKinney.

Check Goodwill. I've seen them there before, along with other assisting equipment. Also, if you have a church, your church may have one for you to borrow. My church keeps a wheelchair and walker.

You can rent a walker from Northside Pharmacy on 380 & Graves. ###-###-####. If she needs a walker long-term, I would go ahead and buy one. You can get them pretty cheap from Walmart.
