Try the Metrocrest Thrift Store at Josey and Belt Line in Carrollton. They often have good used items, great prices and for a small fee can deliver. I bought my freezer, futon, and numerous other items there. The money they raise stays to help others in the community.

Keller Appliance Store in Keller, TX, has used, refurbished appliances for sale. We have bought several items from them over the years, as have our neighbors, and have been very pleased with each purchase. They also do repairs and are very knowledgeble about the appliances. Good luck. (^_~)

I would recommend doing a search on Ebay, using the advanced search filter for local pickups within a certain radius of your zip code. You may be able to find some for sale locally. Also, you can try posting a wanted listing on Freecycle.org for the area in which you live. Good luck on your search.

Have you tried to call Lowe's? Every once in a while they will have appliances that have been returned for one reason or another. They are practically brand new and work fine. I purchased a washer there for a fraction of the price after negotiating because it had a large scratch on the side from a delivery oops. It is now 4 years old with no problems.

We have a fridge for sale. It is a white whirlpool. It has been our second fridge and is in our garage. It works great. It has a slight dent on the door. It has a water/ice dispenser but that will need a tune-up. The price is $150.00.

I recently purchased a home and the previous owners left their white fridge. It is in my garage because i want all black appliances. It is in good working condition because i currently put extra food in it that will not fit in the freezer in the house. I dont know all the details but i can go home take pics and get details on it of you like. I live in little elm and you would have to be responsible for the pick up. I am asking $125. I have one from Lowes that is pretty new and just sitting in a warehouse in Fairview. It has a top freezer and is white. You can have it for 100 dollars if you come get it.C.

you may want to try the ReStore. They have a couple of locations in the metroplex. They have new and used appliances, home decor, building materials and all of the proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity. I think there is a location in Lewisville.

I have two that we were thinking of selling. One is a side-by-side and is in good condition. Let me ask my hubby what he wants to sell it for and I'll message you if you haven't already found one.
