I moved here recently from Mississippi and need to find a new OB GYN. Any referals would be great. It doesn't matter if they are male or female. I just want someone who doesn't make me feel rushed when I visit them.

Thanks!

What can I do next?

Welcome to LR!I love my new OB. Her name is Peggy Guard and her office is next to the Baptist hospital. She is very down to earth and doesn't really sugar coat anything but she always takes the time listen and then explain things that are going on. I never feel rushed while she is in the room and she always takes lots of time with me. Just my opinion though. We are originally from Memphis and still fairly new to Little Rock also, so I know it can be tough finding all new Doctors. Good Luck with everything.

Hello A.,

The Lord has blessed me with three adorable children, ages 15,14, and 2. Yep, what a gap!!!
With my last child Pamela Willis was my OB/GYN. She is a very sweet person with wonderful BEDSIDE MANNERS.
I have also been seen by Sharon Keith who is awesome as well!
Both offices are located in LR. I do have to say that Dr. Wills does have many patients (at least she did 2yrs ago)
Oh! and I have heard that Jimmy Chaung in NLR/St Vincent is excellent.

Have a great day

Hi A.,

Just to give you a male option, I use Dr. William Garner at Arkansas Womens Center (9500 Kanis). I've used him for about 2 years .. as soon as I discovered I was pregnant with my youngest son. He is great with both my boys during office visits. He has always taken time to discuss treatment options and makes me feel like it is a joint decision not something he decides is best for me. He has never made me feel rushed and has always acknowledges my concerns or fears. On the flip side of that he is usually running behind schedule because he genuinely cares about his patients and takes time with each and every one.
Good luck! You have a lot of good options in this area.

Hey!! I am from MS too! We have been here for almost 3 years and live on the base. I use Dr. Chang at Baptist Health in North Little Rock. He is wonderful and he is so patient. He delivered my son last year! I love him!
