I must disagree with the other poster about Magnolia Shutters. I have used them to put plantation shutters throughout two houses and have been very pleased with the product and the service. Yes, they will break if kids slam into them or throw things at them, but that is a bit different from "looking at them wrong." You do want them made of wood, not metal. I have always found the employees to be straightforward and above-board.

We had our entire house done last year by Creative Shutters. They did a great job. The owner's daughter is who helped us. Her name is Jessica Culbertson and the number is ###-###-####. They make them onsite, so you can go and tour their facility to see the quality work they do. They are located at 2700 K Ave # 500 in Plano, TX 75074.

Give Lee Blinds a call. The owner is Lee Higginbotham and he has been in business over 20 years. He is great to work with and sells beautiful shutters as well as blinds and shades. ###-###-#### or ###-###-####.

If your talking about plantation shutters I used this company to get mine repaired. I got their number from home depot or Lowes. The guy came out right away. I don't know how reliable they are or reasonable since these shutters were already in this house when we bought it. He charge me around $60.00 just to put a staple in. But plantation shutters are not cheap anyway. You might want to look them up on the Better Business Bureau.

We have Magnolia Shutters in our house and I honestly hate them. They are pretty to look at but the quality of the product is terrible. I swear they break if you just look at them wrong. And if you have kids in your house plan on having lots of them broken. They are very costly to replace and it is a huge hassle to replace them. The employees at the Magnolia store are not very helpful and are not honest. I don't recommend this company at all. If we ever move I will use someone else for shutters. I recommend to avoid Magnolia at all costs.
