I own and run a tutoring business (w/ my husband). We provide one-on-one in-home tutoring. We have been in business for 3 years now, and my husband and I are both former public school educators ourselves. You can check out our website (www.risingscholars.com) for more information. If it looks like a fit for your needs or if you have more questions about our services, you can email or call us. Our business contact information is on our site. Thanks and best of luck to you.

We have some friends who have been going to The Education Station and are very happy. We are thinking about enrolling our son, 12, this summer for some help with his math. They have math and reading and are located on the NE corner of 121 and Custer. The website is http://www.theeducationstationmckinney.com/
Hope this helps.

try Creative Tutors--they hire certified teachers and they work well with a schedule. They will come to your home to tutor your child on a personalized, one on one basis. also, they don't require a contract or minimum number of sessions; just work with what your child needs. The McKinney franchise is managed by David Pulsipher--###-###-####
Good luck.

Go to the guidance counselor at the school. Many teachers tutor on the side and counselors are a good start.
There are a lot of private tutors around and you have to try them out to get the right "connection" for you.
