Need a Place to Board a Horse for One/two Nights

My sister is in a horse show in Fort Worth in October. She wanted to stay with me for a few days and wants to board her horse for one or two nights at a place that is closer to my house (West Plano). I am not familiar with stables in the area, but was wondering if anyone knew of anyplace that would be able to accommodate her needs. Basically, she just needs a safe place for the horse. There has to be a stall though b/c he is a stud. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

There use to be a place around Frisco. I cannot recall the name.

Try calling a large animal vetennarian (spelling).

Here is a website that has lots of boarding places in Texas.

I know nothing about these places, just found the website online. There is a boarding place listed for Lucas, which is where I live(only about 15 minutes from west Plano). Like I said, I don't know anything about the place, but Lucas is a very popular horse community. Hope this helps...Good Luck!!

I drive by a horse farm all the time on 121, somewhere between Custer and Preston Road. I think it is between Independence and Coit, definitely on the north side of the road. It says they sell and board horses, have parties and other things on the sign. My 2 year old always notices it because of all the horses out in the front pasture.

I'm sure she wants to be able to have a great visit and do the horse show; however, the amount of time on the road back and forth to Ft. Worth might be more than she realizes. Just something to consider.

I have a neighbor who boards---but I'm not sure if she does just a few nights. I'll ask. She is just off of 380 in Denton. But, it is about an hour drive pulling a trailer to Ft. Worth from here.
