We use Dr. Stager, Jr and really like him. My daughter was originally referred to Dr. Leffler at age 1 for a blocked tear duct. Dr Leffler did the probing and ultimately the surgery, which was all fine, but we did not care for his bedside manner. I had lots of questions, when he suggested we patch (one of her eyes was slightly more farsighted than the other). He was a bit condescending and brushed off my concerns. I really needed someone who would explain the situation and address our concerns without making me feel stupid for asking and wanting to understand. We used Dr. Stager, Jr for a second opinion and ended up staying with him. He now sees all 3 of our children and has been very good at explaining everything. I will say, he is very hard to get in to and that can be frustrating. It's worth it, though.

We have used Dr. Stager Jr. in plano....

Dr. Stager Jr is awesome, so is his dad! He's the one I recommend.

We just went to Dr. Stager Jr. as well with my 5 month old! He was great! Very friendly and you can tell he really loves kids! Staff was really friendly as well!

We use Dr. Joel Leffler at Children's Eye Care of North Texas in Plano. We like him and he has seen our daughter since she was in the NICU. He's a bit shy, but very comprehensive and competent.

Located in Plano, Dr. Joel Leffler was great with my son when he was little.
