Need a New Dishwasher!
Hello Mamas! I need your help. Our dishwasher died last night! I would like a quiet AND reliable one. I would like to hear your recommendations. TIA! ~C.~

Thanks for your advice! We ended up w/ a kenmore. It's so quiet! and it only uses 4 1/2 gallons of water instead of the 12-15 gallons the other one used.

I can help!! I am on my 3rd and hopefully last dishwasher since 2000.
The builder put in GE Profile Broken within 4yrs. and LOUD
We upgraded with top of the line Maytag BROKEN within 3 yrs
I now have a top of the line Kitchen Aid from Best Buy that I LOVE. It also has great ratings on Consumer Reports. It is SO reliable, it runs at least once a day.
I love the Kitchen Aid so much that we upgraded our Maytag fridge with a new Kitchen Aid fridge that we also LOVE.
I strongly suggest Best Buy. The deals are fair and they are great with install and follow up.

about 4 years ago we went on the hunt...wanted quiet and to clean dishes well. We ended up with a Bosch fro Lowes...AWESOME! My parents have a Kitchen Aid ..super quiet and cleans well too. CAn't go wrong with either! I am spoiled now and can't believe what the other dishwasher sound like. We actually have to touch ours to see if it is running....

Our appliance repair person told us to use the Whirlpool or Whirlpool Gold. The number 3 0r 4 is the one he recommended. We just love ours.

I put the same kind of post out a couple months ago. I went with the Kitchen Aid that several people reccommend. I am very pleased with it! We found it least expensive at Best Buy.

We just replaced ours in April and we ended up getting a Bosch from Lowes. My hubby and MIL went to look at replacing our old Whirlpool with a new one and ending up going with the Bosch instead. LOVE IT! It is the quietest dishwasher I have come across. Most of the time you can't even hear it running while you are in the kitchen. It cleans extremely well, water heats really hot to sanitize, and interior is stainless steel which prevents mold growth.

I moved in December and our house came with a GE Profile. Hate it after having had a Bosch & a Kitchen Aid in my previous home. Both the Bosch & Kitchen Aid are very quiet and wash very good.
