Need "A" Names for Both Boy and Girl...?

Updated on August 28, 2011

Middle name for boy would be Joe - name does or does not have to go with 1st name as long as 1st name begins with "A".

Middle name for girl would be Ruth - again name does or does not have to go with 1st name as long as 1st name begins with "A"

Open for any suggestions.

So What Happened?

Forgot to mention my sons name is Anthony so Anthony is out of the question.

Wow thanks everyone for your input. i thought it was going to be difficult finding an "A" name for both boy or girl, but apparently I was wrong. 1st off I am not having twins hehe we are just unaware of the sex right now. 2nd my fav girl names are: Audrey (didnt even consider this name until everyone pretty much suggested it), Ava, Avery, and Alyssa.
For the boy names - I think hands down it will be Ayden if we have another boy :) thanks again everyone! Now all I have to do is go over my list of names with the hubby :)

Even though you've gotten a LOT of responses, I had to put in my 2 cents worth! My daughter's name is Ainsley and it's not one that you hear much. Because I'm a teacher, I didn't want a name that was super common, i.e. Ava, Avery and any Alex variation.

I wish we had spelled it Ainslee though!

Also, my good friend has a daughter named Ansley, another uncommon one.

Good luck!

Or instead of doing all A's (can get confusing for the kid growing up in a family of all K's) you can do A,B,C
Brendan Joe
Carrie or Cassidy Ruth
Caiden Joe
Baylynn Ruth
Not sure if you are waiting on sex or if you are expecting twins but there are some variations that may help in addition to the A names that came to mind.

Our daughter's name is Alexa which we love and isn't overly used -- Alexis and Alexandra are much more popular. So of course Alexander is a good boys name.

My niece is Anna. Anna Ruth sounds nice to me.

Some other girls names that start with A we know are Abigail, Anya, Addison, Annie
And boys Aidan,

My son's name is Alexander so I'm obviously partial to Alex/Alexander. I'm also a big fan of Andrew--but not 'Andy'.

If we have a girl her name will be Aleece (typical spelling is Alyse, but no matter what its mistaken for Alice so I am sticking with the phonetic spelling). I also love the name Annalise!

I'm wary of initials that can sound like something else. My sister had the initials raw and got teased during her school years (some). If Garcia is the surname for your children, these are my suggestions:

Andrew Joe

April Ruth
Ashley Ruth
Andrea Ruth
