Need a Great Children's Orthodontist in the Euless/Grapevine Area

Our dentist wants my 8 y.o. to see an orthodontist right away; her mouth is tiny, and her baby teeth are tiny as well. However, she has shed 4 teeth and the permanent teeth are much larger and she will need some work done to make sure she has room for these teeth. I have never personally been to an orthodontist and have no clue what to expect, so I'm depending on y'all to give me some ideas! Does this sound right, that she start with an orthodontist this young? I want to do what's best for my little sweetie and her precious smile!

What can I do next?

Sandra Armstrong I heard was the best, she's off southlake blvd. My daughter was 8 and she has the same prob, she had to have expanders. Get ready it cost us about $3,000. But she will get them off this summer and her teeth look awsome!! So I really think it is worth it!!

This is the ortho my daughter sees. He is great. She is 9 and does not have braces yet. However, he is having us do regular yearly exams because she might need them. His intial evaluation is free.

She's old enough for an initial consultation. Here's a doctor that offers SureSmile treatment (when all of her permanent teeth are in).

Hi C.! She is not to young. Consultations are free most places. I recomend Dr. Sheila Birth and Dr. Charles Stewart with Professional Smiles. I am a dental assistant and completed my externship hours there and even worked there for a while before I decided to stay home with my son. The have 3 locations in the DFW area. The one closest to you would be 5407 Basswood Blvd. The office number is ###-###-####. You can always schedule a couple of consultations with recomendations that you get and just see which one you feel more comfortalbe with and which one your daughter feels more comfortable with. You can go to their website at www.professionalsmiles.com/ There are different phases with orthodontics. It could be that your daughter needs to have room for her permanent teeth to come and she will need some help with that. Good Luck!

We use Smiles for Kids in Colleyville on Hwy 26 and Hall Johnson. Dr Gober can recommend one if you actually need one. My daughter LOVES going to this dentist!!! She is 11 and has been a patient since age 5

I had a similar case as your daughter. Back in the day, they pulled baby and permanent teeth in small mouths to help the remaining teeth fit. Now, I hear they are steering away from that practice and extending the mouth to be larger so all the teeth fit. Just ask around.

I used him as a kid and plan on taking my son there. He is a pediatric dentist and orthodontist, so you only ever need to go to one office. I loved it there.
