Need a Good Sling for My Infant

I recently received a coupon for babycenter and would like to use it on a sling for my 4 month old son. There are so many different kinds out there I have no clue what to get. I have a baby bjorn and it's ok I would just like to carry him closer to my body, esp. to get work done around the house. Also if I could still use while seated (i.e for airline trips and church) that would be ideal. Any advise you can give me would be great! Thanks!

What can I do next?

I loved my Hotsling once I got used to it. You need to be sure to look at the sizing chart and get the right size for your height & weight (I had to return my first one). But my baby loved it, and it freed up my hands to do other things and still have her snuggled up close to me!

Moby wrap or Didymos.....awesome!! You can carry your baby in several different positions. Didymos.com Mobywrap.com Very similar but moby is more affordable.

I think the Hotsling is one of the most popular around. I don't have one personally, but I have seen tons of them. You can look at them at Be By Baby in the city. Target is selling them now too, but you can't try them on since they are packaged.

I have a Moby Wrap and absolutely love it. It does take a little longer than your standard carrier to get on because you have to wrap the fabric around yourself and tie it, but once the baby is in it, you're set. I never investigated though to see if you could get them on babycenter.
Good luck and enjoy your little boy

I absolutely love my Ergo carrier. It is much more comfortable than my Baby Bjorn. http://store.babycenter.com/product/code/7932.do?intcmp=S...
It is great for babies that can hold their heads up (four months sounds about right) well into toddler-hood. I still use mine occasionally for my two year old, and all the time for my 6 month old.
If that is too pricey, try a Moby wrap. It is just as comfortable as the Ergo but does take a little time to get used to putting on.
Hope that helps!

I have a maya wrap, and I love it (it is a ring sling with no padding)!!! I have heard that the moby wraps are great too! Check out www.thebabywearer.com for more types of wraps. Good luck...you will find one that works. A wrap will make your life much easier...I carried my daughter in a sling for over a year, and my 2 month old son loves being in it too!
