I am almost positive that I have plantar fascitis. Can someone please give me the contact information for a good podiatrist in the area? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Dr. Griff Winters in Grayslake

I see Dr. Short in Gurnee. he is the best. I had the same thing and had it operated on a few years ago and have never had a problem since. You can also try yoga to get rid of it.

My sister works for Dr. Flood in Wauconda, he also has offices in Arlington heights, lake zurich and Algonquin. He has been in practice for 17 years, Chief of Podiatry at Northwest community Hospital. He sees my sister, Mom, Mother in law and niece, VERY good Dr. and great bedside manner. His number is ###-###-####. Good luck with your plantar fasciitis:) I know that it can be very painful.

Hi B.,

My husband had plantar fascitis a couple years ago and saw Dr. Schoene (pronounced Shaney). She is in Gurnee and we highly recommend her. Hope you feel better! T.

I had a really bad case of this about 5 years ago. My chiropractor was able to show me a way to tape up my foot for about three weeks, and along with two weeks of spinal adjustments, my foot pain stopped, and it has NEVER returned, not even a hint of it. He is a really wonderful doctor, and if you go to his website, I believe you can print a certificate for your fist visit to be free (inclucing any x-rays that might be needed) His name is Tom Bennett, and he is located right by the train station in downtown Libertyville. His office number is ###-###-####. I was so thrilled to get relief without surgery. I hope he can help you too. blessings- N.

Dr. Lisa Schoene, DPM ###-###-#### 200 S. Greenleaf Gurnee, IL. I believe she may have an office in the skokie area as well.

Dr. Edward Schultz in Lake Bluff. He is fablous. He is also a foot surgeon, but will do EVERYTHING possible to avoid it.
###-###-#### is his number. Good Luck.

I recommend Dr. Griff Winters in Grayslake ###-###-####). Good luck!
