Need a Good Moving Company!

We used Accent Movers when we moved and they were horrible. They ruined several pieces of our furniture. I just wanted to warn you!! :)

We used Allied last month when we moved here from Portland, Oregon. They were absolutely wonderful! They came highly recommended to us. If you would like the contact info for the person that we went through, let me know. They were so careful. They did damaged a few things, came this morning and it was no hassel for them to cover the damages. Needless to say, we were very happy with them.

My husband works for United Van Lines. They are a larger moving company, but they do local moves as well. I'm not sure how much your wanting to spend, but I would recommend them. He works for Armstrong Relocation, that's the actual agen for United Van Lines.

We moved from Houston a year ago. I lived there pretty much all my life. What part are you moving to? If you have any questions let me know. Anyway, on that note, I just moved last week from our apt. into our house and word to the wise, DO NOT USE Firehouse Movers!!! The guys(3) were very nice, but I almost had heart failure when I saw how rough they were being with my furniture. Needless to say, my husband and I found numerous scratches, tears in our leather couches, and gouges in our furniture. There's even a quarter size piece of wood taken out of the front of my daughter's hutch which looks brand new, except for that! They didn't really want to address the issue when my husband called them about it. Just to let you know! What's worse-I got the referral from mamasource.
