Wow, lots of votes for Huggies. I never had good luck with them though, we swear by Pampers. My daughter always leaked through Huggies, night and day, and we always used Pampers with her and have kept those with my son.

I just recently switched from Target and WalMart brand to Luvs for that same reason. Luvs seems to be doing a lot better job.

I had better luck with Pampers, rather than Huggies. Both my sons wet a lot at night and Huggies couldn't seem to keep up. Good luck!

We too were pampers users. I think that the way they are cut is just better for boys. We leaked all the time in Huggies. You may also think about going up a size. At times when we would leak it was beacuse he was growing out of the size of the current diaper. Good luck!!!

We tried a few different brands of diapers with our son. The best ones to work for him are Huggies. The Pampers Swaddlers worked wonders for my cousin's daughter, but boys, apparently, are a different story. We had bad luck with White Cloud too. Best wishes for a dry night!

I just posted almost the same question a few weeks ago...I have switched to the 'Huggies Overnites' in a size 5 for my 11 month old son at night and I have not had a leak since--and he was leaking every single night and waking up soaking--needing a bath...goodluck

Sometimes it helps to just put on two diapers at night. You cut a little slit in the first one so the second one can help absorb. Good luck!

This is a cloth diaper thing but it works over diaposable also. A fleece saoker, it is a pull up made of fleece to keep the leaks in. You can also use wool covers but fleece can be washed like normal and wool needs special care.
They really work great! Just google fleece soaker and you'll find lots. Here is just one site I found to give you a quick look. If your handy they are really easy to make.

Huggies overnights are worth every penny!!!

Our son is now 13 mo. and had the same issues...we've been using huggies overnights since he was about 16 weeks old...during the day we use luvs since walmart stopped carrying the white cloud brand

My 7 mo old soon is the same way, and has been since he was about your son's age. I used Huggies Supreme (a size bigger than he wears normally) at night (generic during the day) until he started to leak out of those and was a size 3. Then I switched to Huggies Overnights in a size bigger (size 3 is hard to find). Hope you find something that works!

How lucky you are that he is sleeping all night! I would recommend 3 things. 1, buy a package of more expensive diapers (Huggies or Pampers, or even "night time" ones) and use them just for night time. 2, put a bigger size on him at night time, so it has the ability to soak up more (make sure it is taped on snug so you don't have leaks out the sides). Or 3, double up - put a second larger diaper on over his regular diaper to catch anything the first diaper leaks.

We use Huggies overnight in a size bigger than she normally wears. Weighs a ton in the morning but seldom leaks. good luck!

Huggies Overnites are great, but your baby may not be big enough yet- I think they start at 16 pounds? I used to line my daughter's diapers with Poise pads- just make sure they are for "heavy flow". Good luck!!

i know you've heard this already from a few other people, but my advice is also Huggies Overnights!!! My son (who is now 14 months) would wake up almost every morning completely soaking wet. Since we switched to Huggies Overnights we have not at that problem once! I'd recommend them to everyone.

I don't know if it is the brand that matters so much or if it's putting a bigger size diaper on at night that works for my daughter. She too has been sleeping through the night since 8 weeks (now 2 yrs), and also pees all night long! We've always used Pampers and have always used one size bigger at night. Works great!

When the kids were babies I always used Huggies. They seemed to be the best at holding liquids. My son who is developmentally delayed and is still in pullups and Huggies makes the best overnight diapers.

Good Luck!!

I think Luvs work ok until your baby gets active, at about 4 months we switched completely off of loves and onto Pampers. I love Pampers swaddlers and now that my daughter is 10 months old and very mobile Pampers cruisers are a lifesaver. I hated Huggies. My husband and I never had good luck with them, it seemed she peed on the floor everytime she started to move. *A good tip is to use a size bigger during the night than you do during the day. My daughter sleeps about 8-12 hours so she can get pretty full, and ever since we switched to size 4's at night we have had no leaks!*

Move up a size for nightime. (i.e. if he wears 1's during the day, use 2's at night) I don't think the Overnights come in a small enough size for your son's age right now (I can only find them starting at size 4 (22+ lbs))

I also had issues with generic diapers leaking so I went back to Pampers (even had issues with Huggies) and have had no problems.

I found that our kids behinds were all different and so different brand diapers worked better for one but not the other. My middle son leaked at night as well and for him, Luvs worked best- with a little trick; size up one size and when before fastening the tapes, fold over the top edge to the inside, creating a little "pocket". When we did this, he seldom leaked out of the diaper.

I had the same problem with all four of my kids and found that Huggies Supreme (for the smaller sizes) and then Overnight Huggies worked the best for preventing the night soaks. K.

i always found the pampers swaddlers the best kind to prevent leaks. you can go online to different websites and get a free diaper from differnt brands to try. i really think each kid fits diapers differently...

but anyway, you could also double the diaper if you want! :D
