Need a Dentist in McKinney or Plano That Is Wonderful and Won't Rip You Off!!!

I have been flying back and forth to see my dentist in Chicago the past couple of months because I have a crown that needed to be done. Well, as you can imagine, it has gotten too expense and I have more work that needs to be done:( I went McKinney Dentist and they were terrible!!! They told me that I needed 1 root canal, 2 crowns and 1 filling and it was going to cost $6000 ($4000 out of MY POCKET) I started crying and left and didn't know what to do. That leads to me why I have been flying back and forth to Chicago and there were NO root canals and only 1 crown that need to be done(could you imagine how cheated and stupid I felt)! SO my question is, does anyone know of a Dentist that they trust and love becasue I am a big baby when it comes to these things. Thank you so much for reading this and taking the time to help me:) Thanks again!

WOW, Thank you so much for the great reponses!!!! This website is fantastic and I really feel like I can trust everyone here like my girlfriends!! I found a dentist and we as a family are going to Dr. Bolten! Not a high overhead and the dentist actaully spends time with you.....LOVE that! Thanks again everyone!!!

Well, I have only been going to Dr. Michael Bolten (yes, like the singer) for a few years now, but he is AWESOME. And TERRIFIC with kids too. He is in Mckinney, off of Elderado Parkway and I really like him a lot. (I have a 9 year old that gets FRANTIC at the MENTION of the word "dentist" and Dr. Bolten is able to keep him calm.) ###-###-####

Dr. Shannon- Shannon Dental Care in McKinney off Virginia and Stonebridge. He is great- he'll say looks about the same- no up charge or selling extras!

Dr. Nix in Allen was very good to me when I use to go to her. I went to Mckinney Dentist last year and was not at all impressed with them. I have not been back to a dentist yet this year, but I am considering Dr. Nix again. She is really good. She is in the shopping center across from Chuck E Cheeses.

If you don't find one in McKinney or Plano, I have a dentist in Richardson. I am 54 and have been going to this office since I was 6. My original dentist retired several years ago and I have seeing Dr. Barnes since.

Dr Singh! She is awesome! She has an office in Plano and Allen. She herself works mostly out of the Plano office, but I have switched to the Allen office b/c it is closer to me. The associate dentist in the Allen office is good too. You won't be sorry. Her staff is really great too.
