Natural House Hold Cleaners
I am quitting melaleuca I like the products but having to find things to buy just to fill my points is not budget friendly. I want good cleaners that are sold in stores I dont want to have to order anything online. What have some of you mommas found to work well and disinfect? My daughter has done a lot better when we switched to melaleuca and got rid of a lot of the chemicals around the house so I want to stay on the same all natural no chemical cleaners.

I use vinegar (full strength) as an all purpose cleaner/degreaser, as a rinse agent in my dish washer (when I had one) & as a fabric softener (I have used it in a HE & a non-HE machine with no problems) & denture tablets in my toilet. I also use baking soda & water (or vinegar) to scrub my tub, shower & sinks. Vinegar & baking soda also works to unclog drains. The vinegar has a strong smell, but it goes away as it dries. I only really use very diluted bleach when I do dishes (I don't have a dish washer any more). I have also sprayed full strength vinegar on my floors when I ran out of the swiffer solution. Vinegar also works great for getting the calcium bulid up out of humidifiers.
God bless!

I use vinegar and baking soda for various cleaning around the house. I buy the cheapest bleach cleaner to have on hand when needed. That's it.

Method is good. You could also try Shaklee (find someone that sells it), or just do vinegar and water! Good luck!

Some options: For glass cleaner - diluted white vinegar - stinky but effective & non-toxic. We also clean with diluted Dr Bronner's peppermint soap, which you can get at any natural food store and many King Soopers. My husband also likes 7th Generation products - we get those as King Soopers too.
You can also get Watkins, but that is also online (let me know if you want to look - it's a regular on-line purchase). Some health food stores also carry Watkins, but not always the home care.
Target "method" products may also work.
GOOD LUCK!
Oh yeh, best tub cleaner: sprinkle baking soda, spray vinegar (not diluted), wait, wipe off....

I also like Method and Second Generation but I recently had to stop using them due to price, I just had to cut it somewhere and those were the first to go...so expensive. I also use a lot of vinegar and water. I like All laundry detergent, it's free and clear and super cheap. Mrs. Meyers (I think that's it...or is it Murphy??) is also good.

I love Method. I usually find the best selection at Lowe's... Believe it or not.
I can't hang with bleach or ammonia cleaners... It KILLS my lungs! Of course I know NOT to combine them. That creates horrible things... Just thought I'd clarify that.

I only use hot steam, baking soda, vinegar and Dr brooners castille concentrated soap in my household. The Castille soap is found in most King Soopers or Walgreens but you can also find it in the Natural food stores. The steam kills the germs. Baking soda serves as a great sink/toilet cleaner. Combine baking soda and vinegar to scrub the toilets and the Castille soap we use on all of our granite and porous tile. Add to that some spritz bottles to add water to the concentrated soap and some anti static cloths and you are good to go!
