Thank you to everyone for their great advice. I actually called up Kelly from Croaktotes.com and she made M. a beautiful napmat that M. son absolutely loves!!! If anyone else needs a nap mat, contact her!

Walmart had them for 6.95 and Toys R Us had them for 5.95. They are the same ones a friend of mine use and they seem to hold up really well.

lakshore learning co. has lots of diff nap mat choices decently priced. they also have a ton of other stuff that is absolutly wonderful for children (especially the early childhood ages). here's the website:

Most of the kids at M. son's school used nap mats from http://www.croaktotes.com and they look very cute. I sewed M. son's so I didn't buy one but the croak totes do look adorable... and they are made locally.
