Names for a Baby That Start with an "A"

It's funny you mention it because "Alma" is not a common name here in the US and I happened to name my baby girl Angelica Alma (Angel Soul)...I thought it was soooo pretty. I like the way it sounds in reverse too, Alma Angelica.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but my daughter went to school with a little girl named Bailey-Paige. The parents took 2 names of relatives that they wanted to honor and hyphenated them to create a new and unique name. Perhaps you could do the same with Alma.

My daughter is Aurora (it means goddes of the dawn) We also liked Ainsley, Audrey, Aubrey, and Abigail. I babysit a girl named Alora. I know an Audra. I always thought that was neat. I can't think of anything to go with Alma. Sorry.

we chose the name Alanna....also spelled Alanah it means "pretty girl"....we found it in a book.....but originally it started as Lana....after the Lana on Smallville.....then, I found Alanna....and liked it much better.
