Hi,
I have a small business that I started and I would like to try and get my product out there. Does anyone know of shops that either buy on consignment or would buy products right out and sell in shops? I have been working mainly word of mouth and would love to take it to the next level or at least see what it would take to get there.

Thanks for the listings of stores. I am familar with those places inch by inch, once...child, and ebay but didn't know if that was a fit for me. My items are all handmade, new, and I was hoping to find a new or up and coming boutique. I definitely think I will approach them and see what they say-b/c they probably deal with this type of thing all of the time. Thanks for the suggestions!

First, try and get your local newspaper to do a Press Release. It's free. It can take a while for it to be posted but well worth it.
Second, go to TribLocal.com and write your own story and it will be posted there.
Third, contact children related services to promote your store - Gymboree/My-Gym, music places, dance places, preschools, bakeries, moms clubs.

I only know about Once Upon a Child where you can sell baby items. They are in Orland and one other location. They also have a website.

There is a store called Once upon a child with is a resale shop just for childrens items, clothes, stroller, etc. and did you ever try edvertising on ebay.
