A Baby Having Sensation While Pee & Pee Area Can't Sleep over Night

Could be a bladder infection. Your daughter MUST see a doctor. Pain while going to the bathroom is NOT normal. Please take her as soon as possible. I pray she gets better soon.

It sounds like she could have a urinary tract infection...She should see a doctor! Make sure to keep lot's of water available for her to drink and not lots of dark colored soda pops!

The other idea is that she could just be sore from a rash...and when she goes potty, it migh burn the red areas...Desitin ointment should clear the rash but, if she still has discomfort while actually peeing then she might have an infection! Best wishes!!

She may have some sort of infection such as urinary or bladder or she may even have a yeast infection. Regardless of which ine it is she needs to be seen by a doctor and probably needs antibiotics or special creams. Also Be sure she is wiping well and you may need to help her by actually washing her with a washcloth and warm soap and water (or no soap if it burns too bad) and then be sure to dry her well. Take her to a doctor--sounds like a bladder infection to me. If your doctor doesn't find anything, take her to a urologist.

She could have a urinary track infection. My daugether has been having them since she was 4. The doctor said that sometimes they don't wipe correctly. I would take her to the doctor and have her urine teseted.

sounds to me she is Irritated there and myabe could have an infection of some sort. Id take her to the Dr and talk woth them ab this!

It sounds like a urinary tract infection. Some females get them more often and more easily than others simply due to the way they are "designed" in that area.

If she takes bubble baths, the soap you are currently using may irritate that area. Also, she may be wiping the wrong way and unknowingly transferring poo into that area which could cause an infection. In any case, definitely take her to the doctor to get diagnosed & treated.

that could be anything. I'd just get her checked out by her pediatrician.
If it's a bladder infection she'd need the doctor to give her an antibiotic.
Does she have a fever??? That's a sign of an infection.

Also, give her a lot of water mixed with cranberry juice. It's can flush out her bladder
and the cranberry juice "fixes" her urine concentration (known as the PH balance).

I don't know if I am quite understanding you on this one it's not quite clear. However if she is having a slight burning sensation and reddness she may have a urinary tract infection or even a bacteria infection. Alot of little girls are getting that now either from not properly wipping or something. Take her to the doctors to get checked out. And as for peeing in the bed, Cut her drinking off early and limit drinks with too much sugar and close to the time you stop allowing her to drink only give plain water.

this is a question you should be asking your pediatrician, but I would say she probably has either a yeast infection, or a urinary tract infection. They run n my family and I had them as a little girl.

Your little girl may have a urinary tract infection from what you are describing. Give her more water, no sugary drinks and take her to the doctor. She may need an antibiotic if she has a urinary tract infection. If you let it go very long, she may develop a bladder infection which is a bit more serious.

In case you need the information, make sure when she uses the bathroom that your daughter is wiping from front to back. If she's wiping from back to front, bacteria can be transferred to her urethra and cause bladder and urinary tract infections.

Please take her in to the doctor it may be a urinary tract infection, allergy to soap or a number of COMMON things for little girls but it MUST be addresserd by a Dr. soon. Good Luck and you are doing the right thing asking for advice:) :)

Hello. She might have a urinary tract infection. My daughter is 16 and when she was little had this problem due to bubble baths. She loved taking bubble baths and played in there for quite some time. Her pediatrician told me that ingredients in the bubbles can give UTIs. I would definitely take her to the doctor. They will probably subscribe something and tell you to use a cream on her to help heal the area and ease the pain. Hope she gets better!

My daughter is five and sometimes has this problem as well. In her case, it's not a bladder infection or other type infection. It's just that she doesn't wipe well. I think this might be the case in your daughter's situation since you mentioned that she is reddish around the pee area. I recommend giving her some very specific instructions about how to wipe and applying some diaper rash ointment to the red area. She needs to wipe front to back (as some of the others mentioned), she needs to use enough toilet paper and she needs to make sure her legs are spread apart enough that she is drying the inside folds of skin. My daughter used to stand up to wipe, so she was only wiping the outside folds of skin. Just last week she was all red and I realized that she wasn't getting the inside clean. So I instructed her to sit back down on the toilet when she wipes and spread her legs apart so that she can dry the inside areas.

It sounds like either a rash or an infection. Try some ointment for external use. If that doesn't help have your pediatrician or family doc exam.

Have her tested for urinary tract infection. My four year old old is just getting over one. Little girls dont always clean themselves well plus I was letting my daughter stay in the bath water too long. The doctor can tell you quick, She will have to pee in a cup. That will be the most challenging thing for her to do. Good luck

It could be an allergic reaction to her bath soaps, or bubble bath. Some little girls are very sensative to the dyes and fragrances added to these and it can result in rash, or UTI. Check with your doctor to make sure it isn't a UTI a simple urine test with tell. Then stop the "girly" bathing products for a while.

She could have an infection and you need to take her to the doctor and find out. Or you might put some desitin ointment on her in that area. I had to do that sometimes for my girls. They just don't wipe very good. I would take her to the doctor first, if she is burning when she urinates.

Check with the doctor she may have an infection. Is it only at night? Clean the area andtry petroleum jelly to protect the skin, if itis a rash from urine agaist her skin it will protect her skin. but she may need medicine if it is an infection, call the doctor

bubble baths can cause girls to burn when they go to the bathroom, especially just after bathing. The dr. told me to use mild soap and no more tub baths at all. However, we have had no luck finding one that doesn't burn at all but Caress has been the best and the combo, bodywash/shampoo, for children are the absolute worst. It may be something as simple as that but for sure talk to the dr. and maybe step up her water intake.
