My Son Won Tickets We Can't Use - What Can I Do with Them?

My 5 year old won some awesome sporting event tickets in a raffle, and he is so bummed, because the sporting event falls on a day when we will be out of town!
I know this a longshot, but does anyone know of a family friendly and legitimate website for trading things? Like freecycle, but you are trading things instead of just giving them away? I would love to see if someone else has similar tickets for a different day and would want to trade. I have no intention of selling these.
Thanks!

What can I do next?

T.,

You can advertise them here on mamasource or try craigslist. I believe they have a barter section. Either way, I hope you are able to share a special day with your little one.

By the way, if they are Laker tickets, I'll trade you for something!

Stubhub.com is a site where people buy and sell their tickets. I've also bought other people's tickets from http://orangecounty.craigslist.org...there is a tickets section. Good luck!

What are the tickets for? I'm always looking for tickets to local sports things--maybe we can work something out!

I know some single moms who don't have the resources to purchase sporting event tickets, but whose sons would love to go. Or donate them to the Ronald McDonald house, I've done that before for similar tickets that happened to be out of town.

If you go on craigslist there's a barter section and you can trade stuff on there. Hope this helps!
