My Daughter Is Getting Baptised!
We are at a loss of what we should get our 10 year old daughter for her baptism. Any ideas??? My mom bought her a Bible with her name and the date engraved on the cover, and my MIL bought a Bible carrying case for the Bible. I do not know what else we could get her! :(

I like the idea of a cross necklace, too. Another thought is something with her birthstone and the stone of the month she's baptized.

what about a cross necklace? Maybe you could get the date engraved on the back. There is a christian bookstore over near 119th and I-35 behind Target, they probably have stuff like that.

A watch, a charm bracelet, a share certificate (while they're low!!), a pewter music box, a bank account.
UPDATED: My mom has a cute little church charm on her Pandora. She's a Christian and she loves it! You can get lovely little dangly crosses for Pandora too.

That's what I got when I was baptized at 8. I think maybe a pretty locket or special little earrings to wear would be cute.

I agree w/ Jane. A cross. And engraving it would be very special.
If she has a cross...a pretty ring?
Something special she can wear would be cool. A reminder. :)
Congrats!
ETA-does she think the charm bracelets are neat (Troll, Chamilla, Pandora)? That would be a great idea too. Maybe just a leather bracelet (cheaper) and Bible charm. I think my mom has a Bible...or maybe just a cross.

We gave our son a book of prayer when he was confirmed last year. He was 11 at the time.

Cross necklace, crucifix for her room, other religious wall hanging, or if catholic, rosary beads.... Do you have a family christian store nearby? There are a bunch of nice things you could get!
