Have any of you ladies delivered at Mountain Vista? If so, what was your experience?

Also, who would you recommend for an Ob in Mesa/Gilbert Area? I have heard mixed reviews on Goodman and Partridge? Many people seem to like Dr. Guzman but not the practice? Or what about about Today's Women's Healthcare Specialists? TIA!! =)

So What Happened?

Thanks everyone for all your responses, I truly appreciate it =) !! I actually went to Dr. Kramer last fall for a Gyn appointment and I really liked her, she was really nice and funny. I had a problem with the office staff though. The receptionist at the Gilbert location was not very friendly at all and screwed up my appointment time, amung other things. The office was supposed to call me back the next week for results on an abnormal pap and they never did, so I had to finally call and they acted like they were never even gonna call me back about it! And then, a week after that a much friendlier staff member called back and gave me the results that I have already got back from the week before, when I had to call myself!

But, I really did like Dr. Kramer though....maybe I will give them another try. Maybe the office at Mountain Vista is better than the Gilbert one??

I delivered there and loved it. It was brand new when I delivered in May of 08. It was a wonderful experience.
I also have the best doctor ever! She was very caring, funny, and just the best! She gave me excellent care. I was 41 when I delivered and she did all the extra monitoring and things to make sure everything was fine.
Her name is Dr. Stephanie Kramer. The name of her company is East Valley Womens Medical. The phone number is ###-###-####. She has 2 locations, one in Gilbert on Baseline and the other is ajacent to the hospital! Good luck, it really makes a big difference if you love and trust your doctor.

Contemporary Care for Women (www.careforwomen.net) is wonderful. Drs are competent and caring, office staff is courteous and efficent and I've received terrific care from them for all 3 of my pregnancies. They have a wonderful reputation among healthcare providers too. Best wishes in finding a great practice because it really makes a huge difference in your childbearing experience. I was a patient Today's Women's Healthcare Specialists for many years. Dr. Watters was my OB and delivered my first two at Chandler Regional. The 1st delivery was normal and his bedside maner was fine. My 2nd delivery had complications and he was well, a jerk. He was very insensitive and his communication was lacking. After my 6wk post delivery appointment I left the practice. That was 6 years ago.

Also, before I left the practice I had several nurse friends that told me that he was very rude to nurses but I figured that he was nice to me so I didn't let it cloud my judgement. When I first saw how he treated the nurses was when he delivered my friends twins and I was her coach This was 2 years after I delivered my first. Then two years after that I also saw how rude he was to my labor and delivery nurses with my 2nd baby.

I know that there are other Dr's in his practice but I'm not familiar with them.

I hope this helped!

I delivered twice at Mountain Vista and was very happy both times. Honestly, I didn't labor there for either birth, so I can't tell you much about that. I was looking forward to laboring there because of the walk-in tubs, but I never timed it right.

My OB is Dr. Stephine Kramer and I really like her. She is very easy to talk to and I never feel rushed or like she isn't truly listening to me.

Hire a midwife and stay at home or go to a birth center. Safer and healthier for you and the baby as long as you are healthy.

I delivered at Mountain Vista & loved it. I also went to Goodman & Partridge & Dr. Guzman was my Dr. He was fantastic! Very caring, listened to my questions & concerns & was supportive. I also delivered with Dr Rowan from that office. ( not sure if she is still there but she was great) I still go to that office for my annuals & see a nurse prac. & she is awesome. Nothing but good things will be said from me.
