Anyone have any suggestions for good mommy and me classes that aren't really expensive? I've heard good things about gymboree but the cost seems a bit outrageous to me. I also am thinking about taking my 8 month old to the infant Y swim class. But any other suggestions would be great.
I second the south bay adult school! I am doing a mommy and me class now with my two year old and we love it! I also did a pre-K class with my son a few years ago and had a wonderful experience. I met lots of great friends in the class and it was very affordable.
Go through your city. Many cities offer youth classes, including Mommy and Me for very reasonable prices. Google your city name for it's website. I have been able to register for classes through Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach. I have also heard that the city of Torrance has a great selection of classes, too. Also, there are many different Mommy and Me classes through South Bay Adult Education.

Go o meetup.com they have tons of FREE mommy and me groups. They have weekly playdates and events. I've been a member for a year and love all the groups I'm in and have met many great moms and kids. It's a great way to get out of the house!
