Mom Seeking Pediatrician

Hello everyone. I have a 6,5 and 3 year old. I want to find an awesome pediatrician in the El Mirage/Surpise area. The one we had was not personable at all. We switched to Desert Valley Pediatrics and it is better. The doctor is very nice but the staff is not very kid friendly. I think that is very important since the children see the office person and the person who brings you back first. Just so so. There isn't anything in the waiting room or the exam room for the children. At least they could have books. I just want the whole package. I hope there are some good ones left. I don't want to have to settle. Please respond.

What can I do next?

I go to Nicholas Pham at Surprise Pediatrics and he is awesome. He asks lots of questions and takes his time with each appointment. I highly recommend him.

It will be most helpful to state what insurance you have so that we can help you better. :-)

Hi there! Well I take my 7 and 3 yr olds to Arrowhead Ped's in surprise. The number is ###-###-####. I've been going there since my oldest was born. I think they treat the kids well, and they listen to the mother's imput about the child's health also. Hope this was helpful! Have a great day!!

I take Both of my kids to Desert Valley Ped's....Dr. Ann Oland at the 108th ave/Indian school location is FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!! I very highly Recommend her to anyone!

I go to Desert Valley as well. They are the best I have found out in the Surprise area. If you are willing to drive a little farther I highly recommend Dr. McGee at Cactus Children's Clinic across the street from Banner Thunderbird. I would still be going there, but my husband's job chnged insurance on us and they don't accept our new insurance.

Sorry I can't help you out more than that! Good luck with your search! Lynn

I also take my kids (7,5 & 8mo.)to DVP but we go to the one on 108th ave and Indian School Rd. I have never found such caring people. The Doctors are great. Good Luck
